  • 3-D Holdouts Unite!
3D is a dying format, I know. I own a 3-D television, which they don’t make anymore. I don’t understand why it just can’t be an option on a newer television. Anyway, this is a great movie, and adding 3-D just enhances the experience. It comes with two discs; a Blu-Ray disc, and a Blu-Ray 3-D disc. Because of how old this movie is, the digital code is expired. The price was great. Any 3-D movie under $10 is worth it to me. ... show more

  • Meant to be seen in 3-D
Meant to be seen in 3-D do you see movies take a bad rap they have a mixed bag all different flavors from dark and serious dramatic lighthearted funny they do them all fairly well not meant to compete with a 20 movie on going story more like the randomness of the comics but this in another itself I think was criticize way too hard it was a fun second round for somebody who’s been through some serious movies and stood out. A bit more lighthearted which isn’t my personal taste but I still enjoy the hell out of this my way the fireworks being in 3-D is one of the best 3-D scenes I’ve ever seen I wasn’t trying to have a revelation I was entertained and distracted for two hours very enjoyable fine edition of the DC collection ... show more

  • Wonder Woman is a wonder.
One of the era's better "super-hero" films, a genre that is outliving its interest.

  • Back to the 1980’s!
Loved 1984 more than the first. Great romance story, loved seeing Pedro Pascal out of his armor acting up a storm, a little supernatural twist, Kirsten Wiig got to play a femme fatale more complicated than Sybil, and I especially loved the "magical realism" cinematic touch - we haven't seen much of that since 1984.😉 Another 1984 bonus, the cameo at the end. Nice compliment to Gal Gadot's solidly helming this solid project. No spoilers! Hollywood needs to make more movies like this! ... show more

  • Wonder Woman 1984 3D Won't play on Xbox One S-PS3 Ok
Wonder Woman 1984 3D did not play on Xbox One S, It would just play it as a regular 2D Bluray. I tried it on Playstation 3 and it worked perfect. I received replacement WW84 3D Bluray, because I thought 1st one was defective. It was same thing. Since PS3 played WW84 3D movie perfect, I figured it's problem with Xbox One S. Wonder Woman 1984 in 3D looks absolutely stunning! A visual masterpiece. I'm thinking of charging $3 a head for someone to come over, to my house and watch it! Wonderful movie! I f someone reviews this 3d film as not good, they're probably not really watching it in 3D, because this movie looks amazing! ... show more

  • Too Touchy-Feely To Be Rescued By The Great 3D
Marvel continues to best the DC movies (in my humble opinion), and this movie does even less than its DC brethren to balance that scale. While this is certainly not a bad movie and I did enjoy much of it, what I disliked quite strongly was the core plot point of a wishing stone. Okay — I’ll concede the mystical infinity stones and the magical arts of Dr. Strange in the Marvel universe, but Marvel also offers techy space-faring vessels and time travel machines (emphasis on MACHINES). Wonder Woman 1984 plays out too much like a 1950s Disney movie, and for a major observation on that point read past my spoiler warning if you’ve already seen this movie. On the other hand, what this movie does provide is great 3D during some very engaging action sequences, and a lot of great 80s references (for those of us old enough to appreciate them). Now, please do yourself a favor and STOP RIGHT HERE if you haven’t seen this movie yet, as spoilers follow! Along with the make-a-wish plot, what ended up ruining this movie for me was the lame, touchy-feely ending. Everyone in the entire world must renounce their wish, so that everything can magically return to normal. All I could think of was Peter Pan: “If you believe, wherever you are, clap your hands, and she’ll hear you. Clap! Clap! Don’t let Tinkerbell die! Clap!” There’s even a name for this, the Tinkerbell Effect, that wishing (or un-wishing) enough for something will make it happen. Besides such a cheesy ending, it’s also entirely implausible that everyone would renounce their wish. I happen to be personally acquainted with at least a couple individuals who would never renounce their wish, even if (and maybe especially if) it would mean the death and destruction of every other living person in the universe. It’s just not a remotely believable ending, for us grown-ups. So there you have it. Note that I generously rated this movie the way I thought most viewers would, instead of the way an anti-Tinkerbell-Effect person would. ... show more
