  • Didn't work as expected
If you are planning on using this to try and do edging, I'd suggest watching a video or reconsidering. My experience was that no matter how hard you press against the wall, the paint gets around the blade and then because of capillary action the paint gets onto the surface you are trying to protect anyway. This product itself seems fine, but the idea doesn't work as intended. ... show more

  • Works beautifully!
I use this paint guide while painting in acrylics to make straight lines and geometric shapes. It is very straight and meets the surface very evenly. It's also very easy to clean. I can't do without it now that I have it. (Painter's hint: if you accidentally let paint dry on the blade, just use some Murphy's Oil Soap and it will come right off.) ... show more

  • I used it for wall color against a ceiling.
I actually really like this product. I’ve only used a smaller brush against it. I’ve heard larger brushes bleed. I used it for wall color against a ceiling. Working on baseboards it tended to leak. Many walls aren’t straight and it only works well on completely square walls. Over all the price outweighs the negative ... show more

  • Handy little tool.
Great little tool. Make sure you keep a wet rag handy as the paint does tend to slip onto the back side. As long as you wipe the blade as you go the tool will be a big help. Originally I had used an edger tool but my lines didn't look so great. Lines definitely came out better using this tool.

  • Not for what I intended.
It didn’t serve its purpose for me. I wanted to use it to paint next to my trim and the paint seeped though and ended up in the trim more.

  • Something I've been missing for a lifetime.
I didn't know this product existed until minutes before ordering. I've never been able to edge paint well....at all, and have tried what I though were every solution out there. Come to find out this is what was missed. Works well. I definitely recommend it to those of us who need help edging.

  • Keep looking
Terrible. It leaves wavy paint lines, and paint bleeds. The blade is too thick or something.

  • Got the job done
I basically ordered this product because it was the least expensive guard on the site. Well, you get what you pay for. Had some issues with sturdiness but otherwise, got the job done!
