I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding a backpack for travel as a carryon bag that fits everything I want to carry. I use a carryon backpack for holding everything I’m bringing to my seat on the plane so I only have one carryon item. It needs to be functional and practical, but also attractive, and not look like a camping backpack. This backpack fits all my personal items like a crossbody Coach City bag and regular wallet, glasses case, pouch with medicine and a few small toiletries, buckwheat neck pillow, 22oz Takeya water bottle, scarf, snacks, electronics such as over ear headphones in case and Kindle, charging cords, and jewelry organizer, and any items I would not want to loose in a checked bag. There are so many zipper organizer pockets, and the light interior makes it easy to see everything. Every detail of this bag has been thoughtful, like the pass through trolley strap, the security zipper, and the dedicated rear zippered phone pocket. And even with everything this bag can fit, it’s isn’t ginormous, doesn’t weigh too much, with a durable fabric that has help up well to being shoved under airplane seats. This bag is beautiful, of good quality, comfortable and functional. I ordered it because my previous work backpack was really hurting my back when I carried it. This one is so much more comfortable with the padded back and shoulder straps! I am able to fit so much in this bag while keeping it organized with the many helpful compartments. I am an art therapist and I carry a laptop, a planner, a workbook and the desktop DSM handbook in the laptop compartment. In the other large compartment I carry extra art supplies, a singing bowl for meditation, my charger and a small lunch box. My journal fits in the front compartment. I got this for my carry on for a long trip. It held my tablet, computer and all the cables I needed, as well as shoes, 2 complete sets of clothes, a book and other necessities. It was comfortable to carry through the airports and city streets. Why only 4 stars? First, the 2 outside side pockets are too small for a water bottle when the backpack has anything in it. Also the anti theft zipper pulls were only on the laptop section of the backpack. It would have made more sense to have them on the other two compartments with 2 zippers, especially as this was labelled as an anti-theft bag. ... show more

I travel a lot for work and I have tried many different bags in my hunt for a great looking and functional work bag. This is it. The material is easy to wipe clean and it looks much nicer than other bookbags. It works for going straight into meetings with. Back compartment: my laptop, portable additional monitor all the cords, wifi and still has room. Middle compartment: other tech bag with cords, medication bag, tablet, notebook, eye masks and other items for the flight. And I still have room in the front two pockets for pens, chapstick, wipes etc. The bag has lots of pockets within each section so I can easily find things. It easily slides over my carryon bag handle so going through the airport is a breeze. Side pockets fit water bottles well. I've had it for a for several months of tough travel (3-4 times a week) and it is holding up great. A winner in my book! ... show more
