Hurricane Ian altered my local camping plans so I finally just set this up in my garage to try it out. It was simple to open up, and surprisingly easy to fold back up. In fact, I succeeded on my first try. I found a Wolfwise video and another video to be very helpful for folding this up and became familiar with them before I even took this tent out of the bag. Directions are also attached to the bag, although I didn't need to look this time. Still, it's nice to know they're there for in the future. I had previously purchased (not from Amazon) a pop-up privacy tent made by another company that was horrible: an open-mesh top with no rainfly, almost see-through, and nearly impossible to fold back up, so this WolfWise tent is a very pleasant surprise. I'm 5'7" and won't have any trouble changing in it, and there's enough room to comfortably fit a portable toilet and use it. Its silver coating helps to ensure privacy while someone is inside. It's nice to have the rainfly as an option, and it's easy to put on. The included floor is also good to have to keep feet clean and protected. The corners of the floor can be staked along with the corners of the tent. I can't comment on how showering would be if using a sun shower with the hose coming through the side window. It would probably be okay, but there isn't a hook to attach the hose to inside as I think there is with some other pop-up tents. So far I'm happy with this purchase, and I think it's a good value for the price. When I actually get a chance to try it out when camping, I'll try to remember to come back and update this review. ... show more

This tent is light weight and easy to set up. Good quality. We’ll use it on the beach. You do need to anchor it. I’m using the ties that come with it and secure it to some home made weights. Get some good tent stakes. The ones that come with it are not good. Practice taking it down at home first. It is tricky but, study the instructions and watch the video. This tent is not perfect, but I love it anyway! we use this as a shower/change room for camping, when it comes to showering you really need an extra enclosed area for drying off/changing as the walls get wet inside, that being said having the netted top and little zippered windows really makes this work well as a shower. the little pocket inside is surprisingly sturdy as well and can hold your soaps and shampoos, the little line inside is awesome for changing clothes that way you can hang them as long as they aren't too heavy, and the fly on top also makes this suitable for storing things in at night when camping. My one complaint is that the seam work is not very impressive there are lots of loose threads hanging out and some areas may need some touching up with sewing over time, but other than that it works great for camping and the folded down size really makes it convenient. ... show more

Love how easily this tent just pops up and folds back down. Also love that it is not that bulky and will not take up much space. There is a little window/opening at the perfect height to pull in my shower sprayer. I have not yet tested it out while camping but this was bought as a replacement for a bulky hard to set up shower shelter that we could not even figure out how to get set up. We used this for the first time at a recent camping trip (July 2024) and it worked great! Vents on the top and sides are helpful for keeping air moving and the rain fly worked on top during a heavy rain storm. It also survived 70-mph winds during the storm! This is a great item. Its removable floor offers a choice if you need a floor or not. Make sure you practice folding it up at home beforehand. It’s makes the trip more pleasant. It’s not hard to fold up once you get the hang of it. Definitely recommend this pop up pod.

Without owning the original version, it appears the additional $15 get you a small piece of material for a roof and another piece of material for a floor. I would have liked to see the additional price go towards some hanging points. for a shower caddy and or something to affix the shower head to. The metal spikes are the typical 1/8" steel spikes that come with most tents. They bend the moment you hit a small rock. Invest in some nice tent pegs, you will need them; as nice as the light weight is for portability, it makes the shower very susceptible to being blown over. As far as the floor goes, I bought a rubber mat: for $24 at a local hardware store. QRRI Floor Mat, 3 ft L, 3 ft W, Square Model Number: IM120-33ILS-EC UPC: 836091001745 This made it much more comfortable to stand on the rocky ground and it fits perfectly inside the tent. It is virtually impossible to fold up the shower WITHOUT reading the instructions. I took it as a challenge but got scared I would bend something. I broke down and look at them. I just got my pop-up from Wolf-Wise. It's great--excellent quality, and I'm very impressed. It comes with some directions with still shots on how to repack it, but don't use this set of instructions. Go back online to Amazon and watch the videos of how to store it. They really helped and it is quite easy. Looking forward to our camping trip and using the pop-up with our new RV's outdoor shower. :) ... show more
