This carrier is not meant for small/younger babies as the back of the carrier goes up very high, causing smaller babies faces to be pressed up against your chest. Design does not allow for hips and legs to be in the recommended “M” position, which contributes to hip dysplasia. Would not recommend this carrier, and doesn’t help its $125. ... show more

I really like quality gear, even if it costs more. The baby carrier feels really sturdy and well built with thick materials, . I can feel, and I can see clearly that the quality of the stitching is top notch. It’s also lightweight and not bulky at all. It’s really simple to setup. My baby hasn’t arrived yet to see how he’ll do with this carrier, that’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. ... show more

Was looking for a carrier that better fit my husbands style and this one is definitely more masculine looking. I really like the look of it and the neutral black color goes great with any outfit. Baby has to face you until about 6 months before they can face outwards. I do agree with some other reviews that the design of this carrier isn’t great for newborns/little babies, as it doesn’t keep their hips in the optimal M positioning. Which personally I also find I have that issue with other carriers we own as well, especially at the younger ages, so it’s not really something that I only experienced with this. It does pull down on your shoulders (versus hipseat style carriers that support more of the weight from your waist) so I personally wouldn’t use this once baby gets heavier. Overall I really liked the color and the aesthetic of this, but would skip using it in the newborn phase, and use it from after newborn until they got too heavy and needed to be switched to a hipseat carrier. ... show more
