The best part about this is that it was easy and quick to put together. It took me only 15 minutes and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The boxes do smell a bit, but I don't think it's too bad. Just a factory/plastic smell. I aired them out and lightly used air freshener and it went away in a few days. I like that it is light and relatively sturdy. It is a great price and good for a kid's room, or for storage. I did find it smaller than I thought and it does not store as much as I would like. It is slightly unsturdy, and the shelves/boxes don't lie as nicely as I would like; there's a gap between them as the picture shows.
