I used the bulbs for my 2 bedroom lamps. The biggest issue was I had to set them up one at a time, but that's an issue with my patience not with the product. I plan to make additional purchases for other areas of my home. I love these bulbs and the ease of use.

    • Picked over Phillips Hue
I threw away my Phillips hue bulbs and replaced them with these. The Wiz lights are cheaper, the app is better, and these lightbulbs work on their own (Phillips hues require a separate hub in order to work) The lighting options are great too, everything from bright white to warm white. I especially like that I can dim the light so I can read while my wife watches a movie. However, the lights sometimes are not detected by my Google home. Meaning I have to manually cycle the power to get it reconnected and to turn on. This was a problem I had with the Hue bulbs too though. Lastly, bulbs might be drawing more power when they are off than the hue bulbs did. This is solely based on my power bill and I haven’t done any additional research into this. The app does say they are drawing the expected amount of power, so there could be something else in my home drawing the extra power. But the bill increase was the month after switching my bulbs.     • The Android App hasn't worked for months.
I bought these in October 2021, downloaded the app and they worked fine to turn off and on remotely while I was out of town for 6 weeks. BUT last fall the app started dropping its connection every few days while I was at home on the same wifi network, and I had to keep turning the bulbs off and on manually to get the App to recognize them again. THEN I went away for a week at Christmas and these would NO LONGER work remotely AT ALL because the App insisted I had to be on my home wifi network to connect. Utterly Useless now... ... show more

I was using zwave for home automation, but got tired of having to start over everytime my controller went out. I liked Zwave but when my hubitat quit working I had enough. I started using the Wiz lights and am now using both white and color bulbs, motion sensors and switches. All easy to setup and configure. I've replaces all zwave/zigbee items except for the thermostate which I'll probally move to next for that. ... show more

    • NO COLORS
I was dissapointed that they look just like the WIZ bulbs with color but of course they do not have colors. So read carefully, daylight, white, cool white and dimmable. As far as the Installation being easy, forget about that. Aside from the App never working on my iPhone I can only get it to work on my Android tablet, getting the bulb into pairing mode is ridiculous, it take multiple attempts just to get it into the blinking mode then actual pairing doesn't happen again and again you can try all the different methods and suggestions unit suddenly it decides to pair for no apparent reason. It's WiFi and Bluetooth not rocket science. Once paired your app choices are limited with this bulb model. Basically all you can do is dim it. There are icons and selections but they don't work with this daylight only bulb. I think I'll put them on the porch and just use them as standard LED bulbs and dim them. ... show more

I can't get the bulbs to connect to my Alexa device oh, but they work great for my phone. Setting them up was a little bit difficult. I set rooms up and then it decided which bulb went to which room and it took me awhile to figure out how to rename the rooms.

    • Good With correct internet setup
These are great lights as long as you have the right kind of internet setup. If you don’t have a 2.4G network no matter what you won’t be able to get them to connect. I bought A19s and BR30s and have no complaints except that sometimes there is a delay after you give a voice command but that’s more an issue with my WiFi than it is with the bulbs. I also bought some 4 packs on amazon and for some reason almost all of those bulbs were defective, I suspect counterfeit, but the 3 packs worked with no issues like that. I would definitely buy these 3 packs again. ... show more
