    • Picture is deceitful on size.
Based on picture, looks wider. It is easy to clean. My knees and feet thank me for it! The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because it should be 4 to 6 inches wider. Length is perfect, color is ok (one print flaw, doesn't bother me but thought I should let you know), very comfortable to stand on.

I keep trying new mats over and over again. I never seem to find one that lives up to the hype until now. The mat came rolled up and sealed in plastic for protection during transport. I left it unrolled overnight and there was no problem with the ends rolling back up when I moved it to the kitchen in the morning. It is long enough to go in front of the double sink and extend over to the front of the dishwasher. This is AWESOME because that's where so much water gets on to the kitchen floor. It is comfortable to stand on, whether I am in shoes or barefoot. After washing the dishes for my family of 7, I can have some lower back pain. I have had no pain at all since using my new mat. As for safety, we even tried it with the kids step stool and there was ZERO movement. With 3 toddlers going up and down to "wash their dishes", that is quite an accomplishment. The underside is grey and does not have this sticky residue or "flaky" feel to it. Other products on the market leave markings or adhere to the flooring. Not with this mode. =) Did I mention that the memory foam is the perfect amount amount of plushness? Can ups see how far my finger pushes down? And then it springs right back up. The color is grey, but it is such a neutral tone that it looks great with my hickory floors, oak cabinets, and beige walls. I may just need to get one for every sink in the house!! ... show more

This mat is expensive & not as comfy as it could be if it were thicker especially for the price. We first ordered the thin mar and it was not worthy of the price. This was a gift for my mom by the sink area part of the kitchen (in my opinion). Mom loved the pattern and color but it’s just not wide enough when put right up against the cabinet (& a lil under) I think that part is measured @ 17.3” x 59” they need to make that at least 23” x 59” because the mat actually floats (moves) around a little. ... show more

    • Comfortable, sturdy, but beware of smell
This mat is really nice. It is longer than many others so it covers almost the whole space between my counter and my stove. It is really easy to clean; dry things like sugar and flour can be vacuumed right off, and sticky things wipe off simply with a warm damp rag. It does not seem to get slippery like my flooring when it is wet either. I stood on it for 2 hours making cookies and my feet and back felt great afterwards. It is well made, sturdy and does not slide all around when you step on it. The only thing I have to say "beware" about is that there is a pretty strong melting plastic smell, when you open it. It took about 3 days to disappear completely. I am not sure anything can be done about it but I did want customers to be informed. ... show more

This particular mat is just ok. It’s thin and has a lot of nicks after the first week. It is still better than standing on the hard floor while cooking or cleaning the dishes.
