First off, let it be known I'm a musician and producer so I'm very critical about sound. My review is based on what I got these for - the gym. I tried them out right out of the box. After figuring out the inner ear hooks (hint - they should point forward) I turned them on. First you turn each earbud on, and you get an audible notification each side is paired. Then they paired with my Samsung GS9 the moment I scanned for them. Piece of cake. Now for sound. They're surprisingly clear and have a wide range on them. I could hear a good oomph from the bass but also reasonably crisp hi hats and snares, all whilst the vocals still shined. Very balanced. Mind you, not perfect and obviously they're not going to give you the same quality as over-the-ear sets like the high end Bose or Beats full-on headsets, but these are easily worth a $50 price tag and can rival most earbuds. For comfort, with the smallest cushions and large inner ear hooks, they settled in my ears nicely and blocked out ambient noise around me. I have "average" sized ears as far as I'm aware. They stayed in place while jogging. The only complaint would be using the skip/pause functions as you have to give it a good click which is like jabbing yourself in the ear, but if you use your phone or audio device's controls like me this isn't major. The case is a bit bulky, but you only need it if you want to charge them on the go. Otherwise, leave it at home and take the ear buds with you, then charge them again at night. Overall, I give these a "4". To me "5" has to be perfect, which to me most products aren't perfect in general. This one is on the side of very good/great. These are quality earbuds and I personally would choose these before more expensuve Samsung/Apple earbuds if you want something portable mostly for school, work, or the gym. ... show more

***Update** I moved these down to a 2 star now. I bought them in November/December and now they do not work. They will not charge anymore and are now unless. I spent almost $50 on them and they didn't even come close to lasting a year. I'm pretty disappointed now.

    • comfortable, stay put, good sound
These are very comfortable. I'm using the ear-hooks - haven't tried the other way, with the internal fins, but they're included if I want to try them. Sound quality is good, perhaps not spectacular, but adequate - no complaints. I'm a musician, so I'm picky about sound quality. When the EQ is flat, the bass is heavier than it should be, so to get it really flat I created a custom EQ setting with the bass cut. The heavy bass can be useful though when I want to hear ambient sounds, like people in the office calling me. I just pull the earpieces out slightly to break the hermetic seal, and then I can hear surrounding noises as well as have enough bass for listening to music. ... show more

Charged over night and did not even make one one hour work out. They do not fit tightly in your ears too. I am not concerned with the price of things I mainly look for quality. These headphones sound very good but the batteries and their life suck. I would not buy again. I am going to purchase the wireless Bose instead. I tried charging the case through a USB power source, Through a charger directly into a wall outlet, for multiple days on end and the battery would last MAYBE 5 minutes, if even. Complete waste of money. Would have been great as they were very comfortable and during that 5 min, the sound quality wasn't terrible. Oh well! Returned and different brand purchased instead! ... show more

*updated* So I've had them for a lil over a week now. The first day they were almost fully charged when arrived. Using a single earbud I got about 2 and a half hours. "Not bad" figure that will be enough cause I use them at work "one of them" I let them charge over night and tried again the next day. I work 9 hour normal days and the one charge was more than enough for the work day. Didn't have to charge it in the case. The sound is awesome and can hear every little thing I need to in music or video. Where were these when I wasted money on those beats... Charge case is pocket sized for easy carry. Won't charge open. Have to close it as the lid pushes them in to place for the connection. Been like 8 days and I haven't even used the charge case it's self. Just plug in at night and charge it all. They've been good to go anytime I've put one in. I can say these are worth it. ... show more

Update (8/3/20): The charging sucks. I get it going and it looks like it's charging, then I put it in my work bag and it goes to hell. The charging case is bulky and doesn't work when the ear attachments are in place nor when they are removed. After several hours of "charging" I pull the buds out to listen and immediately get the "Battery Low" notice and can't use the ear buds for any meaningful length of time. I feel that a 3 star review should work as expected, a 5 star review should exceed expectations, and a 1 star is lower than expectations. I am lowering my original review to 1 star because this product does not work, it plainly does not work as expected. There are better ear buds with less hassle, don't waste your money or worse, waste your time! Original Review: Love the over-the-ear attachments. Soft and holds the buds in during work outs, running, etc. Buds works well but I’ve been having lots of problems with keeping them charged. Tried everything... Followed the manufacture instructions Including from their responses to other reviewers, took off the over-the-ear attachments during charging, alcohol swabbed the connectors. Looks like the buds are charging per the instructions but the next day I get the prompt “Battery Low” and one side will shut down. At least I can use one bud at a time.
