These units have good range. I have 3,300 square feet and placed 3 receivers at each end of the house & garage. They all receive well. I did have a little difficulty getting the units to stay on the ring tone I preferred but finally got them to work. Overall, it was a good purchase. Update 6 months later.....The door bell button started working only intermittently, so I switched to the second button that only worked a while, then became intermittent, as well. I was disappointed with the buttons for the door. The picture makes it look like they have a blue light outlining the button. They don't light up until you press them.
