what a difference the right tool makes
Style: For Insulated Nylon Connectors
I have been crimping with a cheap non ratching tool for ever. I didn't think I needed anything better although the results were always hit and miss. Really dumb. I bought this crimper and the difference is striking. Should have bought one decades ago.

Learn to convert to AWG, spend the extra $$ it's worth it
Style: Crimping Tool Set - 8 PCS
I bought the 8-piece Wirefy kit and then returned it because everything is in metric increments. I then bought the haisstronica version because it looked equivalent and cheaper. Waste of time... when I got it, I immediately sent THAT back because the increments were so small I couldn't figure out if
they were metric or AWG and the jaw alignment was wonky. Bought the 8-piece Wirefy kit AGAIN and have learned to deal with metric/AWG conversion in my head. Honestly, this is a truly fine piece of hardware. Very well designed (need to sell an AWG version), easy to use, and most importantly very precise when it comes to forming any kind of crimp.

Style: For Heat Shrink Connectors
I have mostly Klein tools, but needed a good terminal crimper. This was on the spendy side, but I took a chance given the good reviews. It's the best crimper I've owned. Perfect crimps every time, and easy to squeeze one handed. Wish I'd have gotten this set a long time ago.

Works way better than plier- type crimper, crimps around connector instead of just smashing it flat, completed connection looks professional, works on heat shrink connectors also.

This is a great crimping tool, hands down the best I have ever used. The calculated crimp is perfect and makes an exact crimp all the time. I put it to work quickly and did dozens of crimps, very impressed with the results. Highly recommend this.

don't buy - get one with changeable jaws
Style: For Insulated Nylon Connectors
It's a great crimper, but you can't change out the jaws to use it for other connector types. The images give the impression you can, but not with this model. No response from the manufacturer when I asked about this. You should avoid this model and get a set with different --and changeable-- jaws.

Love that you can swap out the type of crimper you're using it for. Never know when you will need that one teeth to get the job done. Easy to swap and adjust the tightness or looseness.
