  • This is a must if you frequently change chains.
I bought this because I'm running two sets of wheels with different cassette sizes, so I have to change chains every time I change wheels. I didn't want to spend $4 on a disposable SRAM Power Link every time I went from Gravel to Road and vice-versa. I've got ~500 miles on the link between my two chains, and I wish I could say something clever in this review about how I notice the link every time I ride, but the awesome thing is that I can't. I literally only notice this link when I'm changing chains, and that's how it should be. Connecting and disconnecting is simple. You don't need master link pliers, fine tipped needle nose pliers, or anything else. Just push the chain together so you have a 90-degree bend on either side of the link, and it slips right off. Reverse the process to put it back on. Your regular chain tension keeps it secure, even if you drop a chain while shifting. Yes, it's expensive. But it paid for itself after my 5th or 6th wheel swap, so I'm already ahead on this deal. ... show more

  • Expensive... but worth it.
These quick links are fantastic... I've used them for 10 speed, 11 speed and now 12 speed chains. In my opinion, these are a must for those who do immersive waxing for their chains. They do not need tools to remove and reinstall, and they can be used over and over... unlike most quick links, which are supposed to be tossed after one use. Besides using them as my primary master link, I carry a spare in my tool bag, in case I break a chain. Since these do not require tools, you do not need to carry master link pliers to use, if you were to break a chain. I've yet to wear one out... they are super long lasting as well. ... show more

  • Wax Chains need this!
If you wax your chains, this is the quick link to use. Shimano or Sram quick links are only for single use. Cons: Expensive Fiddley to install

  • Works on my SRAM AXS
I love this link! I bought it because I didn't want to carry a masterlink pliers in my tool kit. I have seen and experienced a chain that breaks. Therefore, I carry a spare link and a chain pin tool. This link does not require a tool to assemble or disassemble. It works well with my DRAM Force AXS 12 speed chain and derailleur system. I'm ordering a second one today. My only complaint is the price is so much higher than competing Masterlinks. ... show more

  • Link work the money
This is an expensive price to pay for a link, but it is reusable; and that makes it work the price paid.

  • Connex Chain Link and Cantitoe Road
Super easy to install. Cantitoe Road provided a supplemental instruction sheet that was easier to follow that the factory instructions. Now that is a value add! Shipped quickly, not over packaged and a good price!!!

  • A must for a waxed chains
If you wax your bike chain the quick release link is a great upgrade

  • Love 'Em
Waited 5 years for these to become available. Had the 10 & 11 speed versions, they were the bee's knees, never had a single problem and had the cleanest drivetrain, while using minimal (pricey) lube. Have only 30 MTB miles on these 12 speed ones so far, but I am confident they'll be just as awesome.
