Lead-free brass is also harder, stronger, and more durable than regular leaded brass. Always wear safety goggles when handling or using compressed air.
  • This heavy duty winterization tool is machined from a solid lead-free brass casting. If you are looking for a quality tool that lasts a lifetime, this one is for you! This blow out plug may also be used to winterize sprinkler systems, drip irrigation systems, soaker hoses, faucets, pipes, spigots, sillcocks, water garden hoses, waterlines, and hose bibbs where applicable.

A quick and easy way to blow out the water lines of your RV, motorhome, camper, boat, and travel trailer. Its 3/4"-11 NH hose threads easily connects to your vehicle's city water inlet. Its 1/4" Industrial Interchange Quick- connect is the most common quick-connect fitting for air compressors in North America. Short winterization instructions are provided on the packaging. Most commercially available brass fittings contain up to 8% lead, but for your health and safety, this lead-free brass fitting has been tested by an independent testing lab and certified to contain less than 0.25% lead.

I adjust air pressure down to 50 psi then put this fitting on the city water hook up, connect and start air compressor bleed out all water connections one at a time including toilet until no water comes out. Works great and have used it on 4 different campers. Good price.

Just got done using this to blow water out of the water lines on my RV Very well built. Very easy to install and use. Made of brass so will last.. When attached to the RV it sealed up perfectly with no leaks. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to DIYers that want to winterize there RV themselves!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. Lives in the camper near the nautilus system and is perfect for blowing out the lines for winterizing the camper. I blow the lines out then add the pink stuff seems like over kill, however it gets -60 here during the winters. This one piece brass adapter is perfect. No more building a nipple out of a bushing and an air nipple from the hardware store. Or stealing a nipple from your air tools. ... show more

Couldn't find one of these at Lowes, HD or even Harbor Freight. Home Depot only had the Schrader valve version. This one has the compressor quick disconnect. Had my lines blown out in just a few minutes.
