Easy to install. don't expect to take a normal shower with this. I bought this in an emergency to replace the water heater in my RV. Being 120v and quick delivery at the location I was, it worked. Works awesome for faucets and hand washing. Expect low flow at the shower head as it cannot handle very much water flow but once you get it "dialed in", you can take a hot shower with endless hot water. Way better than a cold shower in a pinch! Requires a 30A breaker and #10 wire. #12 wire did work but it got quite warm. You'll also need a junction box to splice the wires into your home or RV wires. I installed this water heater to replace a 40 gallon, NG fired monstrosity in our pool house. The installation was not hard, but I had knowledgeable, experienced help. If you are not comfortable with breakers, wiring and/or plumbing, then this is not an install for you. The water heater works very well. Heats water to the temperature it's set for. A little patience is required due to the distance from the heater to the faucets. Still, it's a wonderful replacement for the old water heater. 3.5kw works well. Slow running faucet gets hot. Like the concept of no tank. Not enough kw for volume of water for a travel trailer. Should have gotten the 6kw but didn't have 240v available

The media could not be loaded. Water temp doesn’t take long to heat up. I have it for outside beach shower. Set it to 104 thinking it would take a while to get hot, but heat up so quickly had to back it back down to 98 which was perfect. Easy to use and I like the digital numbering. Update: it seems to stop at 98 which sounds warm but only on the Summer. I have 2 of these & have since bought an instant heat model, it takes longer than I thought to heat up.
