Update: I sent the original game back to be replaced with the exact same product. The new game works perfectly! The popper rolls the dice great so we apparently had a defective one the first go round. Love this game set so much, it feels so high quality & was a great price! Original Review: Loved everything about this except the popper. When we push on it to roll the dice, it doesn’t pop the dice up enough to actually roll it so we continually get the same number. Kind of ruins the game. Everything else about this was great, the product felt expensive, strong plastic holes for the game pieces to sit in. And our family absolutely loves the Trouble game. Unfortunately I’ll be returning this particular brand with the hopes of finding a different brand that will actually roll the dice. ... show more

The cheap newer versions are junk. Flimsy. They also have new rules. I do think the new rules are great and helps players to get out of Home faster that the old rules. But, I prefer quality over a flimsy game board and new rules. That’s why I bought this version of Trouble. My granddaughter played both the flimsy version and this version. Out of curiosity, I asked my granddaughter which version did she prefer. To my surprise, she likes this version. We’re sold. Nice sturdy plastic board. It should last for years. Grandchildren love this game, easy to play and the popper is fun to use. One problem that makes it not so fun is once one or two of the pegs are home everytime the popper is pushed the pegs will fly out of the peg holder.
