Neat board for a good price (about $200 when I got it) topped off the battery and synced up the remote and board and took it for a spin. While the power felt underwhelming, (I am used to a backfire g2s) I found that the nuts were on too tight hindering the wheels from spinning, so I loosened them (still on tight, just not pinching the bearing) and then spun them by hand and they barely spun. They may just be packed full of greese or something, but replacing with some bones reds lets the board glide much further. I weigh about 165, and it would not take me up any kind of hill really, and the board also rides pretty high (you might be able to take out the spacers, but they might also be protecting the board material from the metal trucks) and it does turn pretty tight, but I also noticed that when you let off the acceleration abruptly it wiggles a little (this might just be because of a one motor design, I don't notice this on my backfire. As well as the brakes aren't all that great, esp if you're going down a hill, don't expect them to stop you really. All in all though, I really wanted to like this board, it's pretty light, and an affordable experience for an electric board, changing the bearings can be a nice improvement, but ultimately how slow/underpowered it was for me, and the issues with the remote I decided to return it. I heard that their customer service is excellent, however I'll be searching for something with a little more power. ... show more

First time using a motorized skateboard and its a treat. Takes a little getting used to if you ridden skateboards in the past, you can use it like a normal skateboard but where it really shines is when you're too lazy to kick you can use the motor to keep you going. Only one of the wheels is motorized which I was skeptical at first, thinking it wouldnt be enough to keep me going, but it works, even starting from full stop. Its obviously heavier than a normal skateboard, but honestly, it rides like anything you'd get at a big box store. Only con i can think of is the weight, but then you'd probably have to spend quite a bit more for something lighter. Its smaller than we expected, so will probably try a larger size. Another reviewer mentioned that the charger stopped working, hasn't happened to me yet, but I'll keep an eye out. ... show more

    • If you try to ride up a 5 degree slope, you’ll be walking.

The board barely goes 10mph and it is scared of anything but straight or downhill. If you try to go up even a small slope you are walking. I just over 200lbs and this board is on for me at best. Next time I’m getting something with enough power to be practical and fun at my weight.

I only recently got it but I spend a little while testing it out, it's wheels are really good. Even though it's not supposed to I took it on a rough and hilly hiking trail and it was able to do most of the entire Trail at a really good speed, warning it doesn't have nearly the same distance if you're going on a hiking trail probably got one fourth of the distance but if you're going on a normal Trail or something paved I truly believe it will be able to go the full 21.8 miles I just got back from 15 Mile trip and it said that I had a 1/4 battery left, even though one comment said that their remote was cheap I feel like the remote is actually really good it just doesn't have that padded plastic but when it comes to controls it can do everything. It can turn on and off lights it can go backwards and forwards control speed it can track your total distance as well as your current distance and can switch how hard the break is which I love. The only real negatives is that it's a little bit hard to make sharp turns compared to the last board I had and the trucks come in a little bit loose for my taste so I would personally make them tighter ... show more

This board played a major role in my career. And I’m going to explain why based on my experiences. Reliability: With it’s 7.5 mile range, I can ride to work without spending a single dollar on gas. This saves more money on gas than a Toyota Prius. Durability: I don’t know what the company made the body frame of. But this board was built like a tank. Once when I was riding home from work, I hit a pebble and I fell off, and it rolled into the street as a pickup truck turned the corner. I though it was done for. But the inventors did their job well. This board was able to withstand the crushing force of a pickup truck! Only the motor wheel tire came off but I was able to pop it back on. And I was able to ride home as if nothing ever happened. Speed: This board saved my life! When I was slowly cruising around exploring. Two other guys with regular skateboards were following me. I looked back and realized that they were both holding a pocket knife so I knew they were going to try and rob me. So I got on the road and applied maximum throttle. Thanks to a single punchy 450wt motor, I was able to make a quick and easy escape and lost them within a minute. Personalization: This board is so easy to customize and Mount stuff to it that I even gave it a name, ‘Missile’. I even took it to car meets to do little burnouts. They though it was cute. Fun facts: •If you put your foot in front of the board and push the throttle it does a burnout. •Driving it on a wet road/sidewalk helps keep the motor cool. This company has won my respect.
