I use this bike to get to and from work about 2 miles away. My trek consists of going up a fairly steep hill, then about a mile along a 5 lane highway in a suburban setting. It is strong and sturdy for its size. Very responsive shock absorbers above both wheels. The motor is not strong enough to get me up the hill without pedal-assist, but if I pedal moderately and keep an even speed, it does quite well for my 230 lb frame. ONE NOTE: The box says it can carry 330 lbs; It can only carry up to 265 lbs. I think I read that in the user manual itself. So be safe! Don't want anyone too heavy having performance or safety issues. It has tough little tires, an awesome rear basket that's about big enough to fit one brown paper grocery store sack about 75% full, and a bright headlight. Once you get a few rides in and adapt to it, it is very easy to operate, and fun to ride. There is a handle above the battery pack which allows for "easy" carrying. I live up a steep set of APT stairs, and can manage to get this in and out without too much struggle. It's less than 50 lbs. It's no mountain or off-road bike, but perfect for around town or campus daily commutes. For the price here on Amazon, I highly recommend this bike. ... show more

Bike was well packed and easy to assemble , just not very fast.. says 22mph but closer to 17mph.. at 6' , 250lbs , it's comfortable, just wish it was quicker..

Not only is this bike well made and sturdy, but the customer service at windhorse is top notch! I am so impressed with them. This is a Christmas present for my son. the delivery company damaged the box and the throttle on the bike. I called windhorse on a Friday and an American in California answered on the first ring...How refreshing! I explained the issue and they immediately shipped me a replacement throttle at no cost to me, which just arrived today on Monday 2 days before Christmas! they literally saved my kids Christmas and their product is frickin awesome! well built and fun! Nice bike. Easy too assemble. Seat is comfortable. Brakes are good. I have only rode it around the neighborhood so far. On flat ground with a 135 man it will do 22MPH as advertised. Up hill it really struggles. Up hill, I had to peddle assist to make it to the top. It was like peddling a 10 speed bike in first gear. Down hill it flies. I doubt it will go 35 miles range but I have not put it to a distance test. I would highly recommend it in an area or state that is mostly flat. In hilly areas or states, you should probably pay more and get a more powerful bike. ... show more

The battery is absolute garbage. I bought this bike and a voltcycle for the same price. The voltcycle bike is great. Battery lasted all day for the kids and still had about half battery. This one needed recharging 3 times for the same use. I believe we put in about 15 miles altogether of flat no wind riding. ... show more

I got this for my son for Christmas. We immediately broke the throttle. I ordered one on Christmas day. They let me know that there was a delay due to the recent fires. I just received my new throttle today and replacing it was a breeze. Works great. Thanks again.

Comfortable to ride, even for an adult. Battery life is average. Decent speed. Back tire locked up within the first hour. Front tire came completely off while my daughter was riding it. We know of 2 other kids that also got them for Christmas, and their tires were also on the verge of coming off.
