  • Great clubs for beginners!
Color: Ultra Plus Size: Regular Hand Orientation: Right Handed
I started playing golf a few months ago and honestly, these have been really good clubs that can be compared with the more expensive brands. (with what knowledge I have that is) I've gone to the driving range twice and have played more than 10 games so far. I haven't experienced any issues with the clubs or the bag. Some things to note - Overall quality seems good, but there are some visual issues like the milling but nothing that has truly affected how the clubs work. - I haven't seen any bending or warping on the clubs after 10 games and 2 driving range days - No issues with the bag, well made and has plenty of pockets for everything you need. All in all, great clubs for the price! They are well made and if you are looking into golfing and want to get a good set these are not a bad choice. ... show more

  • Great Starter Set
Color: Ultra Plus Size: Regular Hand Orientation: Right Handed
TLDR: Outstanding set of clubs for $300, the few cons are superficial. Got this set of clubs as a way to get back into golf after years out. After a few rounds and about 500 balls at the range they preformed much better than expected. No issues with durability or denting on the driver like some people said on here. You would dent any driver with a bad swing so it might aswell be a cheap one while you learn. Only real cons are that the head covers are really cheap and difficult to put on and that the legs on the stands are kinda flimsy. As long as you treat the bag with care they should hold up though. Long story short, these are great starter clubs while you learn/get back into playing. ... show more

  • A very stylish set, but it’s not good for money or beginner golfers
Color: Deep Red Tour Size: Regular Hand Orientation: Right
Let me first start with the a little bit comparisons between the Wilson Deep Red, Wilson Profile SGI, and Precise 14-piece set which I recently purchased as the beginner golf sets. For the better value, comfortableness, stylish, and clubs combinations, my choices are list below: Value: Precise 14-piece > Wilson Profile SGI > Wilson Deep Red Comfortableness: (Wilson Deep Red = Wilson Profile SGI) > Precise 14-pieces. Stylish: Wilson Deep Red > (Wilson Profile SGI = Precise 14-pieces ) Club combinations: Excluding the bag and common clubs, which are a driver (12 loft for Precise, and 10.5 loft for Wilson), 5-hybrid, 6-9 irons, a pitch wedge, and a putter in these three sets: Precise has a 3-wood and 5-iron, but miss a 5-wood and a sand wedge. $240 before tax when I bought it. Wilson Deep Red has a 3-wood and 4-hybrid, but misses 5-wood and 5-iron. $372 before tax when I bought it. Wilson Profile SGI has a 5-iron but misses a 3-wood. $288 before tax when I bought it. As all the information I listed above, the extra $100 doesn’t justify adding a 3-wood and 4-H but taking out 5-wood and 5-iron from the Wilson Profile SGI sets. While the extra $50 doesn’t justify Wilson Profile SGI 5-wood is over Precise 14-piece 3-wood, and the Wilson sand wedge can be purchase for $29. As far as I checked, these three sets were all made in China, and based on their quality and club head design, I would safely assume both companies use the same OEM. As part of the review I left for the Wilson Profile SGI, I anticipate the Deep Red clubs shall have similar results compared to the Precise clubs. That’s been said, these clubs will be about 1/4” shorter compared to the Precise 14-piece counterparts. The bottom line is, I would not recommend this set to any beginner user since I am a beginner, and I know how hard to use the wood and hybrid clubs correctly, this expensive set of clubs won’t help the beginner to play any better. Recommendations? Of course, I finally settled with a Top Flite Gamer X 16-pieces for $359 value, but I only paid $259 which is the same price for the prior year 18-piece set. ... show more

  • Great Beginner Set [Updated Review]
Color: Ultra Plus Size: Regular Hand Orientation: Right Handed
**Updated Review** Had this set for over a year now and they are holding up great! Hit thousands of balls at the range so far with all the clubs and played dozens of rounds. My game improved significantly, but my skills are still nowhere near at utilizing more expensive clubs. I worked my way down from a 30 handicap to a 20 and I feel I can get to under 15 before I really need to upgrade the driver, putter, etc. Overall, a great value set for the money and I highly recommend it for any beginner/budget golfer. **Original Post** I am a complete beginner and don’t have the skills to utilize expensive set of clubs. I have only used these clubs at the driving range and hit a couple hundred practice balls. I am really impressed with the initial quality and how they feel in hand. I hit drivers from Calloway and TaylorMade, so the driver provided in this set doesn’t feel great, but gets the job done for the price. The wood and hybrid feel great, but irons are my favorite, and the putter is more than decent. The bag is good quality with lots of storage. You can’t go wrong with this set at this price point. I will update this post as i get more rounds in and see how the clubs hold up, but happy with the purchase so far. ... show more

  • Great Beginners Set
Color: Ultra Plus Size: Regular Hand Orientation: Right Handed
These clubs aren’t going to wow anyone on the golf course or give you that extra edge against the rest of the group but they are forgiving and a great starter set. I’ve planned over a dozen times so far this year as well as plenty of time on the driving range and they have held up just fine.
