Works like it should. Near perfect swr without trimming the whip. Be sure to tighten the mast the whip slides into, it came loose after a few days but my fault for not double checking before installing.

Once I set my swr and get it all set right .I can usually get out about 10 to 20 miles on a good day with this Wilson !!!!!!and on a skip out on the radio waves can even talk further !!!!!

As a truck driver I see these all over the place, but as with anything else they where at least 18.00$ more at the truck stops. These antennas get great reviews all over the web. They work great for me. They only thing that I could complain about was not the antennas but the packaging that Amazon sent them to me. Total waste of space. They sent two antennas in two different boxes, and both boxes where the size of two large suite cases. ... show more

This antenna is mirror mounted on my driver's side of a frieghtliner M108 roll back works well with my uniden bearcat 880 I tuned and checked antenna,ground ,and coax with an swr meter and volt meter if you do not do this will not work well there is a correct way to set it up seams to hold up to tree limb whacking it as well ... show more
