  • Definitely worked for me, but I knew what to expect.
Color: Antenna Signal Booster
I couldn't even get my towns radio station, I replaced my head unit and added a new antenna, but my iPod was getting better reception. The towns radio station was sketchy, distorted and just not very good. I installed this device, piggy backed off the ignition power, and it worked a treat. I'm picking up the local station and a few others from farther away. I think I need a better antenna still, but it absolutely helped. It's about half the size of a deck of cards (cut along the long axis) so it actually fits really well in behind my new head unit. So yeah, for $10 it's well worth it. ... show more

  • Doesn't work
Color: Antenna Signal Booster
Bought this for my android radio, while some improved, I got worse reception on stations I had no issues with. It's actually plugged out right now but still connected to the car wires. It was a waste of time for me.

  • Definitely helps pick up radio stations better
Color: Antenna Signal Booster with din antenna
Good quality. Easy enough to install. To find an accessory power line to tie into I turned the keys to the ACC position so power was going to the accessory line (the plug that goes into the back of the stereo). I then just touched the tip of the red wire into one of the square holes of the plug (to one that had a black wire going to it; there were two) that goes into the back of the stereo (the white plastic plug end with multiple holes on the back) and when I saw the red light come on on the little box I knew I had a wire that would give power. I then used the red, in-line plastic plug crimping thing that came with it, cut back some of the wrap around the wire bundle so I'd have room to separate the black wire out some, and then pushed the crimper thing to connect both wires into that line and it worked like a champ (use pliers to squeeze it so the metal part cuts into the new wire well). I do get some bleed-over of 2 stations coming into one channel on occasion but overall I'm very impressed. I now get radio stations I usually have to drive for 15-25 minutes to for them to come in well. Also, I tried plugging in the aux antenna that comes with it and it didn't work as good as the factory cable that routes back to the rear window antenna. Was hoping it would give better reception but it didn't. You may have a different experience so at least plug it in to try it. ... show more

  • It may work or it may not.
Color: Antenna Signal Booster
I hooked this up to get one radio station that has a bad signal. When I hooked it to power and used it as intended it was unusable with static and buzz. I left it unplugged and it picks up the radio station better then hooked straight to the cars antenna.

  • Couldn’t use it, but just what the description says it is.
Color: Antenna Signal Booster
The fittings were wrong for my application and I knew it, but looking at it and thinking through modifying it to work lead me to take another direction.

  • Noticed no change in radio reception

Small unit good intentions but did not worked as advertised. Noticed no improvement to radio channels and static noise.

  • Works great in my Toyota
Color: Antenna Signal Booster
I tested this with the radio half way out, with the amplifier installed I could get signal in my metal garage, without this installed I only got static. Now when I'm driving I get more channels than I thought was possible for my area.
