I bought the 75"x38"x2.76" version of this for camping in my 2018 Model 3. It fits perfectly in the trunk and back seat area with seats folded for a much better price than mattresses marketed specifically for that use. It's as perfect a fit as a simple rectangle can be for the space. It reaches from the trunk door all the way to the front seats, just folding up slightly if the seats are far back, and easily lying flat when they are moved forward just a little. It also comfortably fits the width of the trunk at its narrowest point, which I had measured at 37" and knew would be a little snug. Thickness-wise, it leaves plenty of vertical room for my hips and my wife's to fit under the trunk ledge while still being very cushiony and comfortable to lie on. Our first trip is in a little over a month, so hopefully I'll remember to come back and add any thoughts I have at that point. Durability-wise, it feels really good, but can't comment on that yet. Extremely firm and was difficult for me to roll up after using. Love the idea, but it’s not something I would want to have to unroll and re-roll often.

When you’re tired of sleeping directly on the ground in your tent and an air mattress though comfortable, can be a pain to deal with (and not ideal with camping with dogs!) a mattress pad is the next best option!!! We got two of these (and they connect together really well with the provided Velcro) for our tenting adventures! They are super cozy, easy to setup and provide a great night’s sleep! They are a bit bulky and take up some space (certainly a bit more space than an air mattress) but ultimately it’s worth it for the comfort they they provide! It does require some time to roll them up tightly, but again there’s no need for batteries or forcing the air out in order to pack up your bed!! We use these in conjunction with a cozy two person sleeping bag and the setup is pretty great!! ... show more

Used for camping on hard ground, no cot. Based on reviews I anticipated this not being 2.4 inches thick. It arrived quick and in rugged packaging. After letting it lay open and flat for 3 days it rose to 2". It truly does take a few days. After a week it's still at 2" high. Ok, the 1/4" loss is nominal. I planned on adding a couple different camp mats anyways. My good for nothing Coleman cot mat now has a purpose! I'm 5'9" 140 pounds and a side sleeper. I put "Will" directly on the hard floor and layed on em. Initially the comfort and small amount of memory foam was nice but on my side I could tell it needed more underneath. With one closed cell foam Wmart camp mat under it helped quite a bit and knew I could camp with this for 3 or 4 days before my bones would ache. I threw Will on the Coleman cot and layed on em again and it was awful. I sunk to the middle and my back was arching down any which way I turned. I knew that would happen as memory foam needs flat solid support. I layed on all of em... Will on top, Coleman in the middle and Wallies foam mat on the bottom. Wow! this is the ticket. So if you're going to be on the ground you're going to need a closed cell foam mat like the one in my pics to insulate you from the ground and moisture anyways. Will has a nice rubberized bottom but the nice felt covering will eventually absorb moisture after sleeping on em for days, it compresses down next to the floor. I also recommend getting a cheap egg crate foam or use your old Coleman foam pad in the middle like I did. Rolling Willy up is easy as long as you roll and squish at the same time on a hard surface. See pics. In fact there's plenty of strap left over that you could roll your sleeping bag or foam mat up with it. The straps and buckles work great and seem strong, they're just for keeping it rolled for your trip. BTW, manufacturers warn against storing memory foam for more than 60 days as it will start to permanently damage the cells in the foam. So, I'm storing mine flat open under my bed. I wouldn't keep it strapped in the bag for storage either as the straps dig into the foam and I have no doubt that next spring when I open it up those strap areas won't rise and expand. Keep in mind this is the single small 2.4" thick model, I'm going hunting/camping and needed the smaller than twin size. The carry bag is pretty rugged. The stitching is good, the carry straps good and long and the zipper worked fine. Not sure why others were breaking zippers unless they didn't squish Willy enough and made it hard to zipper. The velour covering is quite comfy and you don't feel the seams or wrinkles (see pics). It would be great if that was zippered so it could be washed, I may have to add one myself. Tip; take an old cotton bed sheet and make a big pillow type case to fit Will, it'll keep it cleaner and a little cooler between you and the memory foam if you plan to sleep on it directly. If you're looking for lightweight it is. Unfortunately this means very little memory foam, a good memory foam is heavy. This is a good price and a good purchase for semi serious camping, it needs at least one camp pad underneath for lighter peeps and more for heavier. ... show more
