I love that WilderWild supplies you with many different patterns for their frame protection. I stuck with the black topo design and couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. Although it was a bit tricky to put on at first I’d really recommend watching there videos on how to install it because it helped me significantly.     • Here’s what you need to know
Color: Glossy Clear
This is very thick frame protection tape so getting it to conform to contour is difficult without creating releif cuts. Thats ok, you’ll do great. Check out my suggestions below. 1. Put the hair dryer down. Do not use heat until you have got all the bubbles out and the tape is attached to the surface. Just keep using the squeegy and your fingers and rub out the bubbles then continue to rub the tape down until it sticks. Only then use heat. If you use heat on the clear its done. Removing it to reposition after heating will leave a cloudy residue on the tape. 2. Use sharp scissors! Do not use a blade!! I used an exacto blade and it left the edges visible and ugly. Not sure why. Scissors did a much nicer job and left the entire edge invisible. 3. Instead of trying to use large pieces, use smaller pieces where contour is being covered. Then use scissors to cut releif cuts in the tape near tight bends to get it to lay flat. Until you use heat this stuff can be easily adjusted. 4. Pro tip: sure the spray bottle with soap works but I put a bowl of soap water next to me so I could dip my fingers often. If you do not keep your fingers wet, the clear tape will show finger prints. 5. Pro tip: use basic dish liquid without anythjng else added. Also use less soap than a drop. I put a small drop of dish liquid in 22 oz of water and it worked great. You dont want too many bubbles! 6.pro tip: practice on your old bike using a small piece to get the process down. I used clear on a black carbon frame and it is virtually invisible! Also, removing it leaves a residue but its easy to clean off. I really like this product and I complain about everything! The overall functionality of this product, for bicycle frame protection, is great. It was also easy to install. The only issue of note (for me, personally, is that I was expecting the non-black colors to stand out more clearly. I purchased the 'Geometric Camouflage' design to put on a green/black frame with a black fork. On the green parts of the frame all I can really see is the black, and everything else looks green. And on the black fork it just looks, well, black. It looks as though I had just put clear onto the fork, unless you happen to catch it in just the right light and be close. I was really expecting the silver and grey parts of the pattern to show up, but they are just invisible. Next time I would either go with something in white, or just clear. ... show more

Found an inexpensive roadie wanted to turn into a project. Wasn't really digging the top tube red graphics. Wasn't sure how I would go about covering it. Found this amazing product. Here are some before and after. This is the dragon scales. Fresh new look, blacked out Fuji.

This is the 2nd time using this product and I really gave it a chance. I followed instructions & used heat while patiently installing. Still got bubbles. Very hard to bend around frame angles. Wrinkles & the glue is too thick.

The media could not be loaded. Move over RideWrap you have some serious competition from a rad small business. I will admit this material (PVC) is super easy to work with and quite fun. This job took me a good 8hrs. I like that it withstands a little more heat then let’s say those (cough, cough) the other guys. Its easier to work with and to manipulate how it lays on my frame. 👏 I’m a service manager for Trek Bikes in Edgewater New Jersey. I am proud to say I’ll be using it for here on out. WilderWild has a great product here. The tape is quality material and is quite a bit thicker than I expected for the price - a nice bonus! I’m pretty meticulous with my bikes and wanted a solid product to protect the frame of my Giant Trance from rock dings, branches, bike racks, scratches from nails, etc. After installation I can tell that this product will serve its purpose very well. It also looks sick on the bike, which was another reason for me purchasing. The wrap has definitely given my slightly older bike (2016) a more modern flare. With that said, I had to dock one star because even after watching the installation video and following it to a tee, I was still unable to remove all the air bubbles from underneath the tape. The bigger the piece, the harder this was to do. My advice would be to use a minimal amount of soapy water because almost all of the bubbles I got were due to water being trapped under the paint within the adhesive. All in all though, I would definitely buy this product again as a sweet protection + style bonus for my next future bike! ... show more

I wish I would have done this sooner before I got scratches and scuffs all over my bicycle. Installed it last week and rode in tough conditions last weekend and after a crash and a few drops, the wrap appears to have done its job superbly. Installation can be as easy and mindless as you want it to be, or can be very tedious and time-consuming if you're a perfectionist, which is of no reflection of the product. I do like the thickness of the protective wrap material, because although that makes it a bit less flexible, it's more durable. Thank you! ... show more
