  • Awesome product
Color: Topographic Marble Matte
This is a high quality film. If you follow the clear instructions provided it will be a great addition to your bike. Adhesion and durability is awesome. Also customer support is fantastic. I highly recommend it

  • Excellent product and Customer Service
Color: Geometric Camouflage Matte
This is the second WilderWild Frame Protection I've purchased. I now have it on 2 bikes. The product is sturdy and definitely works. The price is great and the wrap feels more protective than the thinner alternatives. The one drawback with wrapping a frame is the manual process. I had some issues with my first try and WilderWild went above beyond to help me out. I literally drove to the company headquarters in Denver Colorado, and they helped me get the perfect wrap. The geometric Camo and topo designs look rad. ... show more

  • Good looking, durable, but stiff tape.
Color: Topographic Marble Matte
I have bought a few rolls of this stuff for my bikes (A Trek Farley 7 and a Trek Roscoe) and they have always looked great and are very durable. Only real gripe with this stuff is that it is very stiff (hence the amazing durability) and will only conform to curves and bends with some hair dryer or heat gun assistance. Installation was not bad at all with soapy water and a hair dryer, provided the tape was cut to the proper shape first. (A helpful stencil is provided for the top tube and down tube) Overall, would highly recommend for anyone looking to add some style and protection to their frame, provided they are willing to put in a bit of elbow grease to install it properly. ... show more

  • Decent product, but missing most of the tape.
Color: Geometric Camouflage Matte
This tape is very thick and should do a good job protecting the frame. Takes a bit of patience to apply. I'm not sure if this was a repack, but it only came with 1 strip approximately 18" long and another around 8" long. The description is for a 72" roll. Luckily, I was able to cover the areas I needed. I would have returned the product, but it looks like they no longer have the camo option. ... show more

  • Good protection for carbon frames.
Color: Clear Matte
I had to come back to write a review after today’s ride. A pretty large rock yeeted itself into my chainstay and damaged the hell out of the protection. It was so bad that I thought it had cracked my frame. I got home and took off the damaged protection and the frame was intact, barely a tiny paint scratch. I’m convinced this thing saved my frame. Protection is great, value for menu factor is good as well. It adheres pretty good, it’s thick so a bit finicky at times to smoothly stick to more curved areas. Clarity has remained great, no fading or yellow since I’ve applied it to the frame. Definitely recommend, especially for carbon frames. ... show more

  • thick and strong
Color: Clear Matte
This stuff is way thicker than most PPF and feels much more protective for high wear areas like the downtube and chainstays. I used the clear matte, which matches the matte paint finish on my frame pretty well. Unlike thinner protection tapes you will need a heat gun or hair dryer to install this on anything other than straight tubes. This is what worked for me: cut the piece to the right shape, peel off the backing sticker and spray generously with soapy water, place the center of the tape down along the part of the frame you are installing it on, take your heat gun or hair dryer to the center of the piece so that it warms up and the edges start to droop, use the provided squeegee thing to work outwards from the center of tape both out towards the edges of the tape and up/down towards the ends. If you see a bubble immediately peel up that bit of the tape from the nearest edge, spray with some more soapy water and then work the tape back down starting from the center towards the edge while applying heat. for curves or odd shapes you will need to heat the tape up more so it can stretch a bit as you work over the shape with the squeegee, again working from the center of the tape outwards. If you find any bubbles under the tape when you are done, use your fingers to try and work the bubble over to the nearest side of the tape, if that doesn't work press it into as small a bubble as possible and then use a pin to pierce the center of it and force the air out of that hole. ... show more

  • Too thick - Quality material let down by poor/runny adhesive, very difficult to install
Color: Geometric Camouflage Matte
The actual vinyl material itself is very thick. This is both a blessing and a curse. It means that if you get it applied and looking nice, it's very likely to last a long time, and offer solid protection. But it also means that it's very, very difficult to work with for anything but the most basic of shapes. It's very tricky to cut out the template patterns cleanly, even with very sharp/precise scissors. It's also almost impossible to get all air/soapy water bubbles out, even with previous vinyl experience (from cars), patience, generous heat application, and following their video instructions to a T. The adhesive itself is kind of a mess. Maybe I got a bad batch, but when I took the vinyl out of the package, there was adhesive coming out of the sides, like it had slightly melted. I thought "well, the edges are going to get thrown away anyway once I cut out the templates anyway" and proceeded (maybe I should've stopped there and returned...). Sure enough, once the tape is cut, the adhesive is still 'gummy', resulting in a sticky mess all over your bike at the edges of the tape when trying (and failing) to squeegee out all of the air/water. It looks pretty terrible, and I'm already dreading what's going to happen when I pull it off. I've worked with a decent amount of high quality 3M vinyls and have never seen or experienced any leaving such a gummy/sticky residue. Or any residue at all, actually. ... show more

  • Great stuff! Highly recommended
Color: Black Skulls
I needed a product like this to hide some paint damage to a bike. The wrap comes with some patterns you can use and cut out yourself or like in my case make and cut your own. Other brands that are as much as 4 times more expensive come precut. Buying those doesn’t give you the customization that this does. This tape is very easy to work with IF you watch the videos that Wilder Wild links you to. I would recommend this to everyone. Great product that is reasonably priced. I look forward to maybe seeing some additional designs in the future. ... show more
