I bought these to have extra controllers for a family trip where I brought my wii. It was a last minute purchase and it arrived quick. It can be hard to purchase wii remotes because most are not Nintendo brand since the Wii is not produced anymore. I found these and was hesitant about it working. The remotes were surprisingly effective! Each remote came with a rubber casing, which was a good feature for the price. It did not come with batteries however, which was expected, but battery life runs quick. You’ll need to replace the batteries often if you plan on using daily. Vibration worked properly as well as the sound. I was most hesitant about the accuracy of the remotes but they never lagged. I did not have any trouble pressing the buttons or pointing the remote to the screen. I have only used these remotes for about 2 months now but they are still holding up like I just bought them. Recently unearthed my old Wii but the batteries had rotted inside the remotes. I figured I'd have to go to eBay to get new ones but someone suggested I check amazon. I got 2 for less than the price of 1 original on eBay with these. I kind of wanted originals but I could not resist the price of these. They look exactly the same and so far I have not had any issues with connecting - hopefully it stays that way! ... show more

That's it. Just wanted to let those interested know that these do NOT work with WiitarThing for Clone Hero. If you're buying these for Clone Hero, save yourself a trip to return them and get refurbished official Nintendo Wiimotes instead. These do not have the hardware to connect to a PC. Otherwise, they appear to be in good working order so I'll give them 4 stars because I think they would be just fine and good value for your money if used with a Wii. ... show more

They can't stay connected for more than 15 seconds. Look nice and are cheap but they just don't work sadly.
