I had no problems with connecting an external blu-ray player and USB mouse to my tablet - everything worked perfectly with no connectivity problems. A problem with short adaptors connected to a computer or, say, a hub, is that they place too much strain on the jack. The fit is iffy. Comes loose too often and is very annoying. So I’ve virtually dumped the short, hard connector for short flexible adaptors separated by cable, like this product here which is reasonably priced and works very well.
