Adding the dimensions would be helpful. These didn’t fit within the electrical box due to the outter case. Removed the case and added some electrical tape to the edge of the circuit board and it fit with no fictional problems.

Works as expected, on a test bench because I wanted to set it up before installing. Set up was flawless, no worries. However, this thing is huge. I was hoping to install inside and in the back of box with switch still usable. It's too big for that.

I have LED floodlights in back of my house that had to be hardwired and the only way they could be switched off was to put a switch in the attic. That was very inconvenient. I decided to try this and was amazed. Now if someone is in the back yard at night, the lights come on automatically (light sensor built into lights) but if I want the lights to stay on, I can tell Alexa “Back Yard On” or “Back Yard Off” to control them and make them stay on or off. If lights are off, they will still turn on if they sense motion at night since I wired them in parallel. Have had zero issues. ... show more

I'm an engineer and I tend to have 1/2 way projects all over the house. I have a hot tub blower with a fried controller that feeds a small relay to the blower. Last night I looked at my situation and thought to myself "this looks like it would just replace the entire controller AND relay" and within 30 seconds I removed the coil and load wires and snapped them into the new eMylo switch. BOOM! as soon as I applied power, my smart home App immediately recognized a new device and automatically added it, right after that Alexa added the device automatically. Ability to use the smart life app for these switches is great. The wires are pre-terminated to the switch and having the connectors really makes this idiot proof and protects you from getting zapped and the switch from being fried if the wires are not properly screwed on like other switches require you to do. Again: having the wires coming out so you don’t have to mess with the internals and then having the easy connectors really make this, the one you should buy. ... show more

I don't write a lot of reviews but this item really pissed me off. It was advertised as compatible with Smart Things. First, it has nice clips that make connecting it to the inline very easy and slick. But then it got miserable. The paperwork explains that you must bridge this through their own application ("Smart Life" - come on - be more creative the first thing you have to remember is which "Smart" you are in as you program) which I did on my iphone and signed up for their service (reluctantly - here we go more junk emails). But then - the pairing instructions and steps failed to connect to their own "emylo" device. Tried it several times and each time got different feedback - but no connections. Got the Smart LIFE to log onto my wifi, etc, etc. After ignoring everything else in my life for over an hour I came to the conclusion that you must have the secret decoder ring to make this work and my life wasn't getting any simpler by this POS so I initiated AMAZON refund. I do not recommend this - and anyone who says it works has access to information that is impossible to find. ... show more

So I don't know what to rate these as. Installed one. With a traditional US market device, I would expect the input side to be the device power, and the output side to be an open/close relay triggered by the device, and closing completely isolated contacts. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. The input side feeds the output side, so your Line and Neutral on the input side get connected to Line and (I think) Neutral on the output side when relay is closed. This was a little shocking (literally) and took a test light to figure out (plus getting shocked). Moreover, the Line and Neutral were flipped versus the labeled inputs too, so the neutral seemed to be getting closed, with nothing happening with the line, so I had to flip the wires in order to have the line output close when triggered. Now the reason you'd normally isolate these is so you can control higher amperage or a different circuit with the relay. This really doesn't make much sense, especially since they also (I think) make a DC/AC unit with different voltages. So I don't get it. Is this unit defective? Maybe, but it's working great in this configuration for a couple of days and hasn't fried yet. I have a 6 pack, so waiting with baited breath to try the next one, and then I'll update this review if it works the same. Regardless, this is pretty weird for a controller, and I'd reckon with this approach that there are probably decent chances on burns your house down. Caveat Emptor. FYI, no problem adding it to SmartLife - held the button for 10 seconds, went into some other mode where a wifi network popped up, directly connected, SmartLife was a little slow but eventually found it, then synced with google home. ... show more
