Very pleased to see that this arrived in a protective plastic case an inside of an ESD bag. It also included the needed screw and a spring clip if necessary. I installed this using an ESD wrist strap, no issues, and made sure that the Ethernet cable was attached for allowing Internet connection when powering it up. If that does not work, you can search for the driver on the Intel site. This is an M.2 version. Upgraded my computer and my wifes. My internet flows much faster. Wife had issues with connection and speed. Replacement was a pain just due to her HP laptop design, mine it took longer to take the screws out of case than to replace the card.     • A wifi card with no wifi antenna????
I didnt know this when buying it, being new to this in computer building... I guess this is better for a replacement in a laptop or PC if you already HAVE the antennas in place... but Do Not buy this if you are doing a new computer build! Without the antennas you can not hook anything up via bluetooth and the wifi signal, even if only about 7 feet from my wifi router, was weak. Had to order the very same card with antennas... so I might put this up on ebay for a few bucks. Would have been great if in the description it would have said "replacement card for systems with already installed antennas" Sadly, the new card I bought was about the same price and comes with all the parts to actually install it into a PC (screw, bracket, antennas) I may just install the antennas on this card and see if it makes a difference but as of right now, without antennas this thing is pretty worthless. Just glad its not a $300 worthless so the price is great for having an OOPS like this. ... show more

Replaced the chip that was in my Dell G3 3500 with this. I wanted faster throughput, and Bluetooth 5.2 - the old chip provided Bluetooth 4 and I could barely have two Bluetooth devices connected at once. (Headset and mouse...) Tried using a Microsoft Xbox type controller, and it wouldn't stay connected unless it was the only device. Solved that with a Asus Bluetooth 5 dongle, but I still had occasional problems with more than two devices. Then I updated my router, and... well, who doesn't want faster Wifi speeds? Started looking in the Dell G3 specs, saw it'd take an Intel AX201 - then figured if it'd take that I'd try the AX210. It was a simple, straightforward swapout - the worst part was trying to reconnect the antenna wires. But - once connected and with drivers installed, you see the results above. I went from 300 Mbps with the new router to 680 - and that'll do until Wifi 7 or 8 comes out, lol. Bluetooth equally improved - I have no problems at all with 4 devices going (connecting my phone to the system as well) so Bluetooth 5.2 is a decided improvement from the previous 4.2, Only thing is I had to re-pair all my attached devices - which is understandable since it's a new BT device. ... show more

    • Upgraded a Thinkpad P71, no problem
I recently updated my Wifi access points to Wifi 6 and thought it would be a good time to update the card in my laptop, an older Thinkpad P71. Easily swapped it out for the old Intel card that was in there, and the Thinkpad recognized it no problem (I don't think they use a whitelist for wlan cards anymore in their newer models, but do your research to make sure). The signal is as good and strong as before, but now it connects using the wifi 6 802.11ax protocol and with the higher connection rates that my access points provide, so it's faster overall than before. Signal strength is about the same which I expected, since it's still using the same built-in antennas as before, but subjectively it seems like it holds the signal better if I move around. Worth the upgrade, in my opinion, if you have wifi 6 access points and your laptop will accept it okay. ... show more

    • Doubled Speed! Just remember to install drivers before hand
After reading reviews I made sure to install the drivers for the wifi and Bluetooth before switching out the Wifi Card, things work great but had to do an additional step for the Bluetooth as I couldn't connect my BT devices for some reason, and can't remove them. After some research, apparently the computer still only recognizes the old Wifi/BT card info so you need to delete that in the Device Manager to register your devices to the new card. To do this search Device Manager>Press View Near the Top > Show Hidden Devices > At the drop-down go to Bluetooth > Uninstall all BT devices you had previously > Restart Now you should be able to reconnect all your Bluetooth devices. Overall works great as it doubled my Wifi Speed and will update if any other issues arise ... show more
