I have a bottom freezer and finding ways to store my previous, uncovered trays without them spilling was a challenge. I love that these are covered and won't spill. I fill them overnight and they're ready in the morning. Press gently after filling so the water doesn't squirt back at you. Sometimes the ice cubes come off completely on the lid but that's not an issue. ... show more

Very sturdy- you can throw this ice tray on the ground hundreds of time and it won't break. However, you will need to leave this ice container in the freezer for at least 8 hours; the ice will not solidify unless a certain amount of time. As you can see in the photos, I pulled out the ice in about almost 8 hours and it was not completely solid. I think it is because the ice cube container is so sturdy that it didn't let the temperature to freeze the water was delayed. With three trays, you can make lots of drinks at a party of at least 6 to 8. One tray with partial cubes solidify, I manage to make a syrupy drink turn nicely mixed because of the ice cubes made (probably around 13 to 18 cubes). It is a little tough to remove the cover but I understand that it kept the ice intact and I love the idea that the cover sealed the ice so well. Once the ice solidifies, you just need to twist the ice cube tray and the ice would pop out; I was also able to easily remove it the ice cubes after twisting it manually. Then I forgot that the ice cube package came with a ice cube tong. Well, I can't wait to hold a little home party but I will definitely remember to prepare the ice the day before. ... show more

I LOVE this ice cube tray. It's enclosed so you know you aren't getting anything in your ice cubes. And it's super easy to make a lot of ice in one go. I have been using individual trays for over a year since I moved into my house and I thought they were great. But then I got this and my world was changed. I go through a LOT of ice due to my iced coffee habit and without an ice maker, it can be annoying to run out of ice. This thing not only produces a lot of ice, but it's super easy. The trays are large so when you break open a tray a lot of ice comes out. The cubes are also somewhat triangle shaped. Not sure why, but these cubes also come out more clear than my other ice cube tray. So it kind of feels like I'm watching a TikTok influencer make iced coffee when I make mine because the ice is so pretty compared to my older "normal shape" ice cube tray.     • Simple to use, fill a little more for cube
Easy to use and store when not needed. If you pour water just to cover the bottom pan, you're only going to get a triangular block (half the cube). To get the full cube, make sure to fill a bit more, up to the groove you'll see along some of the side that acts to secure the top pan. When the bottom is slightly overfilled and top is attached, you'll see some water squirt out of the top. Once this happens, you'll get the ice cubes. Be careful, if you're making cubes, do note that it's going to be a little hard removing the top and bottom pan. May need to briefly run the outsides with warm water. Once you remove the top pan, just do a twist motion on the bottom and everything should pretty much fall out easily. ... show more

I purchased these ice trays thinking they would have a cool shape but for some reason they come out all weird. I’m not sure if I am putting the water in wrong but they look choppy. Of course it is just ice so it serves its purpose, but just thought I’d mention that part in case you are picky with house your ice looks. ... show more
