I bought this perfume for use in creating my own body oils and perfume, and so far I love it! It has a very nice scent, similar to Johnson's baby powder, and works wonderfully in an olive oil based body oil or a homemade perfume :) As for longevity, I am a bit sensitive to strong scents so I don't like overpowering or very heavy/longlasting scents, and this one fit what I was looking for! While this was a nice scent, it was definitely not a true white musk; it has a more cotton, floral scent. This oil smells good, but not what I was looking for at all. I wanted a white musk scent to use in laundry detergent making. I am trying to reproduce a scent from a detergent I used for many years for all my laundry; it was Purex Baby Detergent. It had the best white musk smell ever, that left your clothes, blankets, pillows, towels, and all your laundry smelling fabulous! The scent lasted for years in blankets, towels, and sheets. I just pulled out a blanket I haven’t used lately, and some beach towels; they still smelled like that fabulous musk scent! I had washed them in that detergent (before they changed the scent and ruined it) a couple of years ago, and still, that fresh, soft, clean smell of white musk. I will keep tying till I find what I’m looking for. I am using this in my homemade detergent though; while it is a nice scent, it is just not the white musk I was looking for. ... show more

Though it wasn’t the cotton candy scent I was looking for, it still smells okay. I put some on the inside of the toilet paper roll and could smell it for like 3 days. Probably will buy again!
