The instructions I received advise against letting the lamp explode? I am not sure how how to do this. Is there a countdown timer I must continually restart or an explosive fuse I must remove before use? It also advises against letting the lamp rain? I don’t remember seeing anything in the listing about this lamp being a weather generator or rain maker. But I’ll be honest I am super excited about being able to generate rain in the house! I know it warns against letting rain, but, can you Imagine how much water I am going to save on watering plants, washing dishes and showering with my new rain lamp. I am also just a little scared it might explode while in rain mode though based on the warnings. I think I’ll figure out how to prevent the exploding part before I use it as a rain generator. This product is great! The size, the ability to adjust the light to ten levels, five different temperatures of light (i.e. bright white to amber), a timer and the ability to charge a phone or tablet are perfect. Do not expect a charger to be included. We have way too many chargers now and definitely didn't need another one. I think by not including a charger the price was kept low. The lamp requires a charger with a MINIMUM output of 5 volts with 2 amps . Lower outputs can cause a problem per the manufacturer. I found that our Samsung, Apple and Nokia chargers fit the bill. The manufacturer did include a cable with the new USB-C connector and the standard connector to the charger at the other end. No complaints after my wife and I each have one to use at our home work locations. ... show more

I don't write many reviews, but I am so impressed with this little lamp. It can be positioned so many ways, and lots of options for brightness/color levels, and a timer, it's perfect for my desk. I wanted something inexpensive and I got more than my money's worth. I see some complaints about not having the charger connector-don't we all have enough wall warts already? I like everything about this product with the exception of it does not come with a wall plug adapter. I guess they’re too cheap to give you one, but you need one. I like the ability to adjust the level of lighting the brightness of the lighting. You can put it on a timer. That you could recharge it and use it cordlessly I wish that it came with a wall adapter. You could have so many more sales if it came with the wall adapter. I like the sleek design I like the fact that can fold up. But it’s missing the mark which is having the USB plugs.. other than that it’s nice it’s lightweight. It’s not bulky certainly not going to take up a lot of space on your desk or Gaming area. it provides ample light. We just need a wall plug and it would be great instead of just good. ... show more

Nice lamp, it is was it says it is. However, I failed to notice in the description that it does not come with an ac adapter. It has a usb cord that is incredibly short. You will need your own power adapter and then most likely an extension cord. You could also just plug it into your computer but I do not like that idea. ... show more

I actually purchased this thinking it plugged in but it does not have a regular cord. It is usb. It worked great for what I needed it for which was for doing pedicures on my family members and myself bc I’m blind as a bat.
