First wash and dry I followed the instructions. In the dryer the brand new towels left so many CLUMPS AND LINT, multiple handfuls, they were practically DISINTEGRATING. Afterwards they had LOOSE THREADS from being poorly sewn, loads of them, and it took me a long time to cut each of them off carefully. Washcloths are so THIN I can see a lot of light coming through them. Used them for a couple of weeks. Was surprised that they are NOT VERY ABSORBENT and that they don't dry you off very well. Though they're affordable and soft, given that they DON'T DRY YOU OFF VERY WELL, I view these as nearly a total bust and I decided to return them. ... show more

These are NOT quality towels. Photo above is shown after the FIRST wash, straight from the package. I only washed the towels with the other brand new towels, and this was the result. I purchased four sets of the brown and light green/sage towels, and there are definite quality flaws between the sets and inconsistent “quality” even between colors. The brown towels are already frayed and snagged within one month of purchase, they have horrendous fuzzies that transfer onto the skin and they tend to just smear the water on the skin instead of absorbing into the towel. The green/sage color is nowhere near the “quality” of the brown towels. They are not near as soft or plush, however they do absorb the water better and do not have the fuzzies. There are multiple, multiple mixed reviews on this site regarding these towels, however this perfectly reflects the inconsistency between the products and the colors of the towels. I hope that I am able to return these as these are not going to last or even look nice much past the first wash. ... show more

Changed the color scheme in the bathroom to chocolate and turquoise. The chocolate towels are perfect. Nice and thick, absorbent and soft. I washed them before using, lots of lint in dryer, cleaned screen twice but towels came out very soft and absorbent. I definitely recommend these towels. I wish they came in turquoise or a teal color. I had to use a different brand for the turquoise and they are nice but not as thick. ... show more

This product is garbage!! DO NOT BUY! This happened after one wash where the hand towels and bath towels are falling a part! Both hand towels are coming unraveled at the seems. The bath towels are also damaged and falling apart after one wash. The color drastically faded. I have had my Martha Stewart bath set for 8 years and they do not show this kind of wear and tear. I order weekly from Amazon and depend on these reviews. Do not buy these towels! ... show more

I wish I could give these towels 5 stars. They are absorbent, soft and a good value. So, what's the problem? I ordered 2 sets (2 towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths each). I washed them before first use as directed. 3 of the 4 towels had little pulls in the weave. One had an ~ 6" string where the seam came undone. Not happy with that. Will be contacting the company. REVISION 6/15/2021: from 2* to 4* Customer service was AWESOME . They responded within an hour and immediately sent replacement. Highly recommend!! ... show more

If you like a towel to dry you off out of the shower do not buy these. They say 100% cotton but its hard to believe. It takes an average of wiping the towel over my arms 4 times before there is no water film left on my arms or any other part of my body. The need to be left on the floor to absorb any water. I quick wipe with just create a smeared mess. Very disappointed in this purchase. Was gone on vacation when they had arrived. Wish I could have returned these and just bought Walmart towels ... show more

I have other brown towels purchased from Walmart. Expected brown towels to be at least close in shade and they were not. Can't even figure out a common item that is this shade of brown. The Walmart towels are a shade similar to a dark chocolate candy bar...these are not even close to that. From now on will get towels at Walmart. ... show more
