Three of the four towels were lovely. Soft. Dye didn’t bleed much on the first wash. True to picture. Fourth towel was a mess, like a cat had torn its claws through the edging. Got a refund though from a very nice customer service person.

With hair that falls close to the backs of my knees, it helps to have a big towel to wrap it in when I get out of the shower. I also have a love of the color purple, so I was glad to see a vibrant purple option. After nearly half a year, these towels are still thick, absorb well, and don't show obvious signs of wear. Yes, they produce lint, even when you've had them for months and laundered them well, but what gets left behind on me isn't much, so I still consider this a win. Be warned, though: this towel starts out heavier due to its size and density and can get even heavier once it's absorbed enough water. ... show more

These towels are amazing. Super soft, work great after a shower or just drying your hands and come out of the dryer soft and fresh. They were really linty at 1st but after a couple of washes it has gotten better.

I tried a handful of towels after I moved to replace my 16 year old towels that did not match my new bathroom at all. From super soft, to hotel style, to the newer waffle towels. Some of the super soft ones didn't absorb well, some of the more absorbent ones were too stiff and scratchy. After 4 wash cycles when new (no fabric softener, no dryer sheets ever), these struck a good balance of absorbent and soft. While I really liked the Onsen brand waffle towels (better than these), once I factored in price for the full set, these were the winner. Bought a set of black and grey. Biggest downside I've found, even after a few washes they tend to shed a decent amount of lint (most notable with the black ones). The more I've washed them, the better they've gotten about that but have not stopped yet. ... show more
