These towels are not it. I will say they are true to color and are very big and soft. HOWEVER, they will not stop shedding and produce so much lint in my dryer. My bathroom is almost impossible to keep clean due to the endless fabric shedding. Shoot, I don’t think I have ever stepped out of the shower without being covered in lint after using one of these towels. There were so many positive reviews, even though there were a number of bad reviews, I ordered them anyway. Please pay attention to the bad reviews-they are accurate. When I got these towels I instantly washed them by themselves in cold water, with a very small amount of soap. My result was the same as so many others. My hand towel and washcloth came out just fine. My bath towel came out with threads hanging loose and one seam completely undone. I contacted Amazon who replied that I had to deal with the company. So I sent a message to the company, no reply. Then I got a second response from Amazon-was my issue resolved. No! No reply from Amazon. I then sent a second message to the company. No reply. Then came the second message from Amazon-was my issue resolved? No! No response from either amazon or Lane Linen. Obviously I am not going to get any help resolving the issue, and I am left with a nice brand new "junk towel." I have shopped for a replacement towel, and at least now I know enough to avoid Lane Linen. Yes, this is a very long review, but if it keeps one person from buying anything from Lane Linen, it's worth it. UPDATE: I just washed my towels for the second time. I now have a nice large gray rag.
