The color is vibrant and all but it bleeds. Will likely need to be washed 3/4 more times for the color not to run. Left a lot of lint in dryer after first wash straight out of package. Dries very well. Left a tad bit of lint but will likely stop after another wash. Very soft without being too fluffy. Decent quality. Not oversized. The washcloths seem to be thicker than the towels. I thought these towels would do well despite their lower cost, but now I see why. The towels are soft and that's nice, but the quality is ruined by the unreal amount of lint that keeps coming off these things. I washed them before I used them and my washer AND dryer became full of gray fuzzballs. I used one after a shower and got fuzzballs all over my body so I had to take another shower. Washed the towels again, still full of lint! Seriously, these towels have so much fuzz they could start their own police department. I probably wouldn't buy these again. ... show more

I had purchased another brand of towels that I loved (and still do) but the amount of lint those produce is SO bad, I feel like I'm not going to have a lot of towel left soon. These Lane towels are so nice - not as large but only by a few inches. This set includes only the towels as I had enough hand towels and wash cloths. These towels are still good sized and fit most average to large sized humans nicely. The first time I washed these they did produce a good amount of lint but nothing like the other ones. The 2nd time there was very little and now they produce the normal amount only after 2 washings. Cotton towels are always going to produce a lot of lint. The Lane towels have provided a quality towel solution where I needed them most. The white ones stay white and don't yellow. The fold up nicely and are soft and absorbent.
