They don’t leave like little strings I mean for you know not super expensive towels but for my budget and they look nice like a hotel a nice hotel towel but it’s not a stick but they’re great they absorb they wash up really good and they don’t have that crappy look when you wash it and it kinda just looks stingy and they look nice. I got the dark gray, they’re really soft and it dries quickly. If you add fabric softener, it makes it even softer or just bounce or any fabric software of your choice. I was surprised that the towels matched my bathroom perfectly. It is so hard to know what the color will be when you order. Also, although not super thick they are beautiful large towels, soft, and absorbent. Very well pleased and am ordering another set like this one again this week.

The color is vibrant and all but it bleeds. Will likely need to be washed 3/4 more times for the color not to run. Left a lot of lint in dryer after first wash straight out of package. Dries very well. Left a tad bit of lint but will likely stop after another wash. Very soft without being too fluffy. Decent quality. Not oversized. The washcloths seem to be thicker than the towels. These look worse than my old towels I was replacing. If you like thin towels, you will probably like them. I prefer thick fluffy ones. These were for my guests bathroom which I’m embarrassed to offer now. For the costs, the towels at Sam’s or Costco are a much better option.

My go to towel for everyday. It is the perfect size, feel, and absorbs water well. It is starting to fall apart after a year. There are strings and the seam has fallen apart. So they aren’t so pretty to look at anymore.

There were so many positive reviews, even though there were a number of bad reviews, I ordered them anyway. Please pay attention to the bad reviews-they are accurate. When I got these towels I instantly washed them by themselves in cold water, with a very small amount of soap. My result was the same as so many others. My hand towel and washcloth came out just fine. My bath towel came out with threads hanging loose and one seam completely undone. I contacted Amazon who replied that I had to deal with the company. So I sent a message to the company, no reply. Then I got a second response from Amazon-was my issue resolved. No! No reply from Amazon. I then sent a second message to the company. No reply. Then came the second message from Amazon-was my issue resolved? No! No response from either amazon or Lane Linen. Obviously I am not going to get any help resolving the issue, and I am left with a nice brand new "junk towel." I have shopped for a replacement towel, and at least now I know enough to avoid Lane Linen. Yes, this is a very long review, but if it keeps one person from buying anything from Lane Linen, it's worth it. UPDATE: I just washed my towels for the second time. I now have a nice large gray rag. Not sure I will even keep it as a rag. ... show more
