I am so impressed with this product - it is a "Pancake/Waffle Game Changer". My father has said many times "I wished this was around when I made pancakes for you and your bother every weekend". It improves mixing (Metal Whisk Ball) to eliminate lumps. Greatly reduces cleanup as you do not need a big container, whisk/spoon etc. Pouring is easy and you can make "Pancake Art" which kids love - letters, their name, dinosaurs, all depends on your skill. Art aside, the nozzle provides for consistent sized pancakes. This is the pinnacle of pancake technology & design. The plastic is thick, durable and seals well. It has never dripped and is dishwasher safe. Putting the pancake mixture, water, milk, eggs, whatever is simple - the bottom cap serves as a base and holds the container so you have both hands free. It sits there very sturdily and does not wobble. Once you close it up to shake, the metal whisk ball does all the work and eliminates lumps. Another application I have used this for is salad dressings and whey protein mixing. I bought this over two years and just used it for the first time yesterday - long story. I love it! I was looking for an easier way to pour my batter on the griddle without all the mess. A condiment squeeze bottle almost worked after I cut off the tip; however it was difficult to get my thick batter into the bottle. This solves that by being able to pour it into the bottom. My batter is quite thick as it's a custom recipe using wheat-free flour alternatives and as another reviewer stated the mixing ball may not be enough to make your batter in the bottle, but it was heavy duty enough to keep the batter mixed throughout the process. We ordered this along with the art kit so we'd have a couple bottles thinking it would be nice to make in batches as you go so the batter is always fresh. Both ordered from the same page on Amazon, but one came as an off-brand bottle, not an actual Whiskware product. The art kit actually came as a Whiskware product. The bottles are slightly different, very clearly a knock off. All things compared they're close enough that it seems the parts are interchangeable so we don't have to worry about which lid/bottom goes to which bottle. But I didn't pay for an off-brand, so the seller is getting a negative review. The bottles themselves are pretty great, 1 bottle holds 1 recipe of batter (1 cup mix, 1 cup buttermilk, 1 egg, 2 tbsp melted butter) although this off-brand version the whisk ball is larger than the other. It doesn't do a good job of getting into the corners, so there's always unmixed batter there. The cleaning is horrendous. Period. There are SO many little crevices and crannies around the screw caps, on the lids, on the base, the engineer who designed this clearly has never tried cleaning a kitchen appliance in their life. Get a good bottle brush or small bristle type scrubber. Admittedly the convenience is high enough that I'll still use it, but it's such a pain to get them properly cleaned. If it were designed better and the Amazon page actually listed which ones are Whiskware and which ones aren't, it's actually a 5 star product. It's great to do a single batch, and with multiple bottles works well to keep fresh batter. The little bottles I'm not entirely sold on since I don't actually do any kind of art, but maybe I'll grow into it. ... show more

I absolutely love this. It seems so silly but it’s a game changer. We love making waffles but it’s such a mess mixing in the bowl, trying to scoop the batter into the waffle iron, dripping everywhere, ugh!! But this little gadget is AMAZING. I literally just put all the ingredients in it and shook it like crazy and it mixed up so great and NO MESS!! it was so easy putting the batter in the waffle iron!! And when I was out of batter I washed it out before the last waffle was done cooking! I used a bottle brush to get the little ridges but I just filled the bottle with soapy water and shook to clean the rest of it. Amazing. I’m going to buy this for everyone I know. ... show more
