I have ordered 3 others from Amazon that said they were lightweight but were not!! Unfortunately I missed the window to return. I love the crinkly sound it makes, no it isn’t as loud as people make it to be with a recording. It isn’t to that extreme. Yes, it has the crisp crinkly sound, it is a coolness to the touch which is most important to me along with light weight. It isn’t a soft feel like a micro fiber type comforter, it is a slick smooth material feel. It is cotton. It doesn’t collect hair and it doesn’t have static like the microfiber does! This is a great lightweight comforter with warmth. Some people said it sounded crunchy but I did not find that to be true in my case. It sounds vaguely like starched cotton. It’s hardly noticeable.
