I bought these exercise bands in February of 2020, before the pandemic hit, luckily; so I was prepared. I'm very peculiar about my workout equipment. I've been wrestling / fighting for most of my life, and I need up to par equipment for optimal workouts. These exercise bands feel great, and with all the variations of weight you can put together these bands are viable for beginners as well as more advanced efficianados. The reason I gave versatility a 4/5, is because by nature it can be slightly hard to hit certain workouts that the bands don't naturally align to; though for the most part most workouts are doable, and there are ways to hit ever muscle if you use your imagination or lookup exercise band workouts. Durability is a 4/5 (though it may be bad luck and I should have given it a 5/5) because one of the bands was slowly ripping and snapped on me when I was doing a workout. I may have unknowingly caught it on something that may have given it the initial tear that kept getting worse. The other 4 out of 5 bands are still going strong, and I really push these things. The range of motion is great (5/5), these things can really take a nice stretching. You can start your workouts with more tension in the band to maintain tension in your resting positions, the band can stretch quite a bit and still maintains a smooth feeling of motion. You will have to attach the band properly to something or get it in a good position to get the most out of the range of motion. Overall this brand of bands are a good addition to a home gym, or a good solo method of working out at home. It can definitely give you a solid burn, some muscle size/ definition, and endurance. I would recommend them. The customer service is also great, I reached out to Whatafit about the band that broke and they promptly replied to me to send a replacement. I have had these ropes for a few months now and I mainly incorporate them in my strength training since I don't have certain equipment yet for certain exercises. I've been using them 4x per week for i think almost 3 months now and haven't noticed in stretch marks or had any of them break on me. The included door anchor works great and is much needed for a lot of exercises unless you are clever. The weight of the ropes are pretty accurate but when I tested them they did come up a couple pounds shy of the initial weight listed but no worries if you just slap on another band. Overall love this product but if I have to say something negative about it is that the rubber on skin contact is a very unpleasant feeling. Endorse me WHATAFIT ... show more

These exercise bands have been a great addition to our home gym. The variety of weight is a nice assortment for beginners and intermediate workouts. The door attachment is super easy to use and I don’t feel it move once everything has been set into place and I begin using them. The clips work wonderfully and are easy to use to change out to different bands. I really like that the door attachment allows me to have a workout practically anywhere. The only thing I would do differently if I were to buy these again is get them in bright different colors. I love gray but it makes it difficult at times to grab the right band/weight because it’s not overly obvious which shade of gray is what weight whereas there would be a huge difference between yellow and red. These bands are extremely high quality and my javelin throwers (30 meters for girls and 40 meters for boys) absolutely LOVE them as they enhance shoulder and core strength and allow for a greater emphasis upon form.

I wanted to wait until I had some time to use these and now I can say that I am so happy I bought these back in March. If you're stuck at home and need to workout these are great. The bands are versatile that you can workout almost every major muscle group you'd hit at the gym. I was a little concerned that after 2-3 months of daily use the bands would snap or be stretched out too much but so far they're still working great. And really resistance wise you can combine bands to increase resistance enough that you can feel like you've gotten a good pump. It takes a bit getting used to if you miss your freeweights or machines but after months of home workouts I have to admit I've gotten great results maintaining my gains from the gym. From opening the box, you get a lot for your money; this is a great value and a godsend for those who are out of the gym and have to rely on homeworkouts. My only complaint is the door anchor can make certain workouts awkward, but that's really just down to whatever kind of doors you have in your home. Depending on our set up you may want to get 2 anchors or maybe one of those anchors that wrap around the whole door and have multiple loops and anchor points but that's really just up to you. Overall this a great product and I would recommend it as an investment for homeworkouts. I don't know how I would have survived quarantine this long without them. Update: I wanted to provide some more information. After 6 months of almost daily use, one the bands finally snapped. Obviously not a big deal; I certainly was happy and got my money's worth. The bands were certainly durable and allowed me to stay in shape. I was ready to buy a new replacement set but I asked Whatafit if by some chance there was some warranty on the band. They sent me a whole replacement set! No problem no fighting, just sent them a pic of the broken band and they were on it. I can't say enough how good this product and this company is. I have totally changed my opinion on the value of bands for working out and I would definitely buy from this company. 5 stars . ... show more
