Transferred a couple hundred GB from the internal drive to this secondary drive using the system storage utility, moved it over in under a minute. Will upgrade for sure at some point, but great 1TB upgrade for PS5. Yes, there are cheaper brands, but I’d advise against something not approved or recommended by Sony due to warranty. Easy install and works. Little parts in the Playstation are a pain, but fairly quick and doesn’t take an IT genius. PlayStation site does have instructions and good support if you’re unsure or can’t get it to work. Zero problems with heat and much better than external drives. ... show more

It’s very easy to install and I love that I can download more games. The down side is that these games are receiving more updates 24/7 and the memory gets used up a lot. So if you have the money definitely go for something more than 4TB. Other than that everything looks good!
