  • My current gold standard for an aggressive chewer
Size: Large Color: Tangerine
This toy has been the longest lasting, most useful toy I’ve found for my lab/pitt mix who’s an aggressive chewer. I have three of them, two large size and one small. I believe I got them toward the beginning of 2019 and they’re just now getting to the point where I need to replace them because he can chew chunks off. Both the small and large ones have worked for my 50lbs dogs, but the large are a better size for them. I’ve put all kind of treats and dog food in these. My other dog isn’t as gifted in the brains department, so I make it easier for him with smaller bits of kibble and more difficult for my food-motivated boy with the larger pieces of kibble. These also work well for bully sticks, baby carrots, and larger treats broken into pieces. The way you can twist them allows you to put larger things in the middle and then they clamp down when they twist back to their original shape. My dogs chew on these sometimes even when there aren’t any treats in them. I’ve never tried it, but I think you could put small pieces of ice in them or fill them with peanut butter and freeze them. They’re expensive enough for a dog toy that it makes me cringe, but it’s worth it with the way they’ve lasted and the 30 minutes of peace I get when I bring them out. ... show more

  • Indestructible
Size: Large Color: Tangerine
I bought this for my doberman - 14 months old - and she is obsessed with it. I fill it with dried liver treats and it keeps her busy. You can see very few teeth marks on it, it seems I have finally found something for her that is indestructible and that she enjoys. My smaller mixed breed loves it too so I just purchased a smaller one, as sharing seems to be a problem when it comes to this item. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Love West paw
Size: Large Color: Granny Smith
Love West Paul products. Environmentally, friendly, and extremely durable for Ruff chewers. My pup loves this toy when we put bones in it. It’s a win for us!

  • Tough chewers beware, No Bully sticks.
Size: Large Color: Aqua Blue
The Westpaw Qwizl Large puzzle toy quickly became one of his favorites. We also have the Westpaw Hurley bone which he isn't very interested in. We stared out with easy things home made chicken jerky strips 3 to 4 inches, dental chews, and carrots. These simple treats lasted about 5 to10 minutes with no damage to the toy. The carrot he didn't like and got stuck in the toy. It is a rather tough toy and most importantly safe on teeth. I like that after a play in the yard it can be put in the dishwasher. However like all dog toys I put in the dishwasher washer, I give it a thorough rinse to make sure there is no soap residue left on the soft surface or inside the toy. After a few days he figured out how the toy works we upped the game with a 9 inch bully stick. Typically this voracious chewer will devour a bully stick in under 10 minutes. The bully stick lasted 1 hour under supervision, with only one intervention at about 45 minutes to push the stick out alittle. The thickness of the stick a little over 1/2" did make it rather difficult to get out of the toy. I had the same problem with a whole carrot having to cut it and break it up through the hole in the middle with a spoon, because I couldn't get it out. The dog didn't really want the carrot however and was happy to just lick at it and toss the toy around with the carrot inside. He did well for the most part with the bully stick. Chewing off the exposed ends then pulling from one end and chewing then pulling again. Once the treat got a little stuck he did do slight damage to the toys end. I would not recommend this as a bully stick holder unless you have a moderate or light chewer. I trimmed the loose pieces off the toy with scissors but he still wants to pick at them. I will get another one or see if Westpaw will allow an exchange/replacement. How ever will not be using it for Bully or Pizzle sticks again. Dog is Fixed Male rescue around 65lbs of unknown breed (We think Catahoula heeler mix, Australian Cattle Dog Catahoula mix, vet said Dutch Shepard heeler mix) roughly 1 1/2 years old. For your light to moderate chewer a slim (under 1/2 inch) 7 to 9 inch long bully stick works well for the toy. 6 inch was to short to hang out both ends but would work. The longevity and durability of the toy will depend on the dog. For tough food motivated chewers better than average toys but far less than kong extreme for comparison. For Moderate Chewers possibly a year or 2. For light Chewers maybe a lifetime. ... show more

  • Hard To Chew
Size: Small Color: Granny Smith
My dog doesn’t have a lot of teeth so he couldn’t handle this but I gave it to a friend whose dog loves it! Keeps him busy and gets treats this way. Good toy for most dogs.

  • Best I have found
Size: Large Color: Aqua Blue
Out of all of the treat hiding toys I have bought for my dogs this is the best. Holds the right treats or vitamins very well without being impossible for the dog to get them out or so easy that I might as well just hand it to them. Great balance and the best I have found. Very durable and easy to clean compared to most. Plus, closed loop recycling and healthier materials for dogs is always a plus. I have a 50 lb mix and an 80 lb mix and this has worked well. One of them is an absolute destroyer of all toys and he hasn’t messed this up at all. ... show more

  • Really impressed with durability and functionality
Size: Small Color: Tangerine
I jam a bully stick in this thing and my 25 lb heavy chewer will work on it for an hour before he gets frustrated. My boy's teeth are straight out of a horror movie and he has done zero damage to this thing. He loves it and will even play with it without a lure. I can't figure out a middle ground where he can access the bully stick on his own without getting it right away and without me helping him. Regardless, he loves it and I love that it keeps him independently active for a long time. Edit: 5->3 star after about 1.5 months it started breaking down. I thought I was supposed to last longer, but maybe nothing will hold up for my tiny monster. ... show more

  • Durable for aggressive chewer
Size: Large Color: Granny Smith
It’s has stood up to my aggressive chewer and also can be used to play catch. I put collagen sticks in them to keep him busy and he loves it! He even throws it for himself to make a game! I recommend!
