NO complaints from me. The camera was as advertised & now after 2 months of using it outdoors, it's operated great. I have my camera recording 24/7 onto a SD card. You can choose to have Cloud storage for unlimited space. I look through my videos every couple days unless there may be need to look sooner. I have been pleased with the performance of this security camera & Would recommend it to anyone looking for your own privated security. You can't go wrong on this purchase. Buy yourself 2 or more to secure indoors & outdoors you want be sorry all the camera works pretty good. It has what I would say is an excellent night vision, especially for the money! Easy set up & being able to choose how to set up your camera, I chose to have mine running & recording 24/7. You can also choose slot times over a pp period of 24 hrs for 7 days. 24/7 does take up a lot of space but I generally have a replacement card & I look over it every other day. Erase & start over with that card. You can can as well pay a small monthly fee for unlimited Cloud storage, which is Ideal!! It's really a simple to set up & use security camera. I bought 2 cameras for outside use. They work pretty good, better with a micro SD card so you can keep videos. The app account is free unless you use their cloud service. It was easy to set up the first time. Only problems was when we switched internet service and tried reconnecting them. I had to contact tech support and they were great (all via email) with information on how to reconnect. I would caution you to either keep the QRS code label or ID #. You will need it if you have to reset or change internet service. The email for tech support was hard to find on the seller page. The picture is clear, it is a bit slow sometimes, (could be my internet speed?) And if you don't have enough light the image can be dark initially, it does have a light you can turn on and night vision. Overall for the price, I can look at it anytime change settings easily I'm satisfied with how it works. ... show more

This camera is awesome, and for the price, it can't be beat. Good picture, easy to setup with app. Get this, you can watch camera on your phone with ease. Now, here's what you need to know: 1) Says it works great with Alexa. Couldn't test, unfortunately I don't have any Alexas stuff :( . I'm went with Google junk before Alexa was really mainstream, and can't pay for the switch on all the devices and plus. Does NOT work with Google. Knew that going in though, hoping they'll fix that with software updates. 2) I use it in an outdoor hanging lantern-like light fixture. Daytime is okay, using the night vision I get reflections off the glass of the light fixture. (not problem with the camera, but something to know). 3) Here's a plus the didn't tell you, or I completely missed. This is my first experience with any kind of security device, so I have nothing to compare with, but I have to say, it has been reliable and efficient. It does not cut out on me, I am running it 24/7 with an SD card, and it has missed nothing. Day vision is great. I can see nearly everything on my block as I pan my camera. The sound is great too. A couple of days ago I could have (but didn't) eavesdropped on my postman as he was talking on a cell phone across the street. That's impressive. I like the way I can get playback on my smart phone--it's easy for me to check what's happened when I'm not home. Night vision had been great up to about 15 feet. I don't know if that is normal or not. I can see things that are close to my house very clearly, but it drops off quickly after that. I can see cars that pass in front of my home, but not enough to make much of them and people fade into darkness that pass on my sidewalk. But should anyone come close to the house, the view is great. It seems to follow people quite well most of the time. Though I live in a city, I have deer that come right to the porch at night, as well as feral cats, and I get good coverage of them. I had no idea a 12 point monster mule deer buck lived in my neighborhood but I have great night shots of him now. For the price especially, I am very pleased with this camera. I think I will look for another one that will give me better night distance and clarity, as I am specifically needing a camera for protection against a stalker, but I will keep this one running too. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it has handled -20 temps at night and snow and has been a champ. And it was super simple to hook up and operate. If they are all like mine, I heartily recommend it. I am adding to my review. I've had this camera at least a month and a half and it is still working great, especially in minus degree temps. I have bought 3 other brands of cameras and returned them all for panning, connection and lag issues. I'm going to try a second one of this brand and see how it compares to the first. Hopefully as well - I will update when I do. ... show more

This is a great security camera...for a very good price. You don't need any subscription or cloud service! We added this to a screened in front porch! It will swivel for you and alert you through the app when there is an event. Someone was driving up our road which is a dead end and this camera alerted us to the headlights on the road when we weren't home. It comes with a adapter to plug it into a electrical outlet but we just screwed it in to our light by our front door. You can by a sd card for it but we haven't needed to but will if needed. Only DOWN to this is the directions are so small I needed a magnifyer to read them. ... show more
