Werewolf: the Apocalypse - Earth blood offers a unique experience full of savage combat and mystical adventures, inspired by the famous role-playing game. You are cahal, a powerful garou who chose to go into exile after losing control of his destructive Rage. You must master the three forms and powers of human, Wolf, and the giant ferocious beast crinos to punish those who defile gaia, Mother Earth. Each form has its advantages: the Wolf can sneak around undetected, cahal as a human can interact with other people, and the werewolf can unleash is Rage to tear enemies apart. This Rage is your greatest Asset, but also your weakness - if you don't contain it, it can destroy you once again. Im a big werewolf movie fan. Finished this game and found it to be extremely fun. I really loved the stealth form agility and sneaking around and also the werewolf form going berserk with the combat abilities. I stayed up late playing for hours on end. Really fun, enjoyable game! If you're looking for a nuanced story line or innovative game play, this game isn't it. The game play is simplistic and the story is cliched and predictable. There is also nothing in the way of replayability, there are superficial choices, but they don't really mean anything. That doesn't mean the game isn't fun. It is fun, if a bit repetitive. You can play it like a stealth game if you want or you can run into every situation as a 10 foot tall furry rage monster and turn a room's occupants into raspberry jam. The big problem I have is the game is VERY short. If you run through aggressively, you can probably complete the game in 6 hours or so. If you go the stealth route, maybe 8-10 hours. If price is an issue for you, I'd wait a few months for the price to come down. It's definitely not worth the $50 their asking right now. ... show more

This game is trying to be what so many other games have done before but worse. It's like a combination of many other games I've played like Metal Gear Solid and Thief with a touch of super hero games mixed up but much much worse. It felt like there was no real care put into the project nor was there any real respect or understanding of the source material. Redundant throughout the entire game. Lacking in story engagement or character development. I was really disappointed and even though I've been a HUGE fan of the White Wolf Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Mage the Ascension, Changeling the Dreaming, Wraith the Oblivion... you name it.. I've played the tabletop games and collected all the books for years. This is not a good representation at all. The gameplay is boring and does not hold my interest either. It's a shame because I love the 'World of Darkness' by White Wolf so much and I am dying for a video game that would better represent that genre. ... show more
