  • Beautiful Console
Don’t pay attention to the ppl reviewing low because they weren’t able to get one . I’m into sneakers so I know what it’s like but it’s something we can’t control. The world is just built like this ig. The PS5 digital edition is an excellent console , and an absolute steal for $399. I suggest everyone to wait till you can get one retail because at the moment the ps5 feels like a super fast ps4 with my lack of ps5 games. It’s beautiful, fast, and definitely feels next gen. The dualsense controller could arguably be my favorite part, where it makes the games an experience rather than just playing them normally. I like to say it’s like having a “Universal Studios” ride in your hands to make you feel the game. The console has only been out for almost a month and Sony is already releasing updates to fix bugs and stuff so the future looks bright for the PS5. In 2-3 years this console has the chance to be a complete monster. ... show more

  • Im normally a PC guy
Have been a Mainly playing PC for gaming for the past few years. Although (spec wise) the pc can blow any console away, I really appreciate the pricing and optimization that they put into these consoles. I was VERY impressed with the performance of this console. Ghost of Tsushima looks phenomenal using their backwards compatibility mode and miles morals looks great. The controller is next level... definitely the best controller (in terms of features) that I have used although I slightly prefer the xbox controller thumb stick with the right stick being slightly further up the controller because I have big hands. I would probably go for the disk version if you have the extra hundred because you will save it in the purchase of games. The digital console restricts you from only buying from their PSN store while with the disk version, games constantly go on sale here on amazon or at Walmart that can be significant savings that add up. Overall very impressed. ... show more

  • Thank you!
I'm writing this a couple days late, but want to say thank you! I was on every website trying to buy this for my husband as a surprise. Every website crashed on me, stayed up all hours of the day and night. I gave up.. but then I went to Amazon and it was available!! I could not believe it. I clicked it so fast, ordered it, and it said will be here in one day. Then, next thing you know it is on our doorstep. My husband was so excited and he said it has been working great. He has always had an Xbox, so this was his first switch over and loves it. Great graphics, quick response, overall great buy! The delivery driver was hours early too, which was a plus! Thank you for having it on your website! ... show more

  • One Giant Leap for Console Gaming!
First of all, I would like to thank Amazon for shipping this PlayStation and it arriving in great condition on time! Thank you guys. The PlayStation 5, from my week of playing on it and beating Miles Morales, has given me some great experiences and has been excellent as my first PlayStation purchased by myself for me. Playing games like Ghost of Tsushima at 60fps is amazing on both my 1440p HDR monitor at home and on my moms TV when I brought it over for the holidays. It gives me glimpses of what I try to explain to people what PC gaming is like, with smooth frame rates in supported titles, great visuals and easy clipping of highlights. I could write so much more but I’ll save it for a possible video review, but this thing is great. I wish everyone luck in trying to get your hands on one of these things! ... show more

  • It's snappy and snazzy!
Its incredibly quiet compared to the ps4. I've played about 2-3 hours of demons souls and am amazed I haven't heard the fan. This is great if your walls are paper thin as you can keep the volume down and still hear the game with no issues. The console itself is huge and will most like take up a big chunk out of any entertainment center. The ui is kinda meh in my opinion but am sure I'll get over it. I had one hard crash and had to unplug it completely but other than that no issues. Overall am happy with it and I have to say demons souls looks amazing. ... show more

  • If you can find it at a normal price, the upgrade is totally worth it.
Screw scalpers first off. I was lucky enough to be able to buy this console at MSRP during a restock and can say with absolute confidence that if you can find a ps5 console for the price it’s supposed to be, it’s absolutely a worthy upgrade. Loading times are generally gone, guaranteed 60 FPS on new games and on some old ones breathe a new sense of immersion, and the new controller is a whole new beast. Sony’s best console to date with the only thing hindering it being that it’s so good scalpers are taking all of them. I cannot stress this enough: if you can find it at the correct price, it is a purchase you will not regret. ... show more

  • Lots of fun and the digital version is perfect
As hard as it is to get your hands on a PS5, I can say it is worth it none the less. It looks amazing to play and the games available for it have been so fun to play. I have heard that the digital version can be worst but I would disagree. On my older consoles. I would have game disks all over the place and even lose some at some point. But with the digital version, everything is much more organized and easier to handle. ... show more

  • Time to upgrade to Next-Gen?
In a word, absolutely. I got into the PS4 game later into the console’s lifespan even though I never even touched most of the first-party lineup of titles. This time around, there’s all of the under the hood improvements to enjoy right now, as well as a pretty highly-anticipated roster of games due out in 2021. If you’ve got plenty of mileage out of your PS4, or don’t own one at all, the PS5 brings so much to the table and makes a great first impression. Better graphics, responsiveness, an enhanced controller experience, and all of the other improvements might not be massive in their own right. But together they form a clear picture of what the next-generation console experience will look like. And I have to say, I’m impressed. ... show more
