Bought this to replace an older splatter guard that did not have a handle, which could burn you while removing it. Having this one with a handle is much better, no worries about burning hand. Also, it is a good quality plastic, which is easy to clean.

I like the lids and are very useful but the construction is a bit lacking. one of the vent covers can off the first week of use and they leave streak lines if air dried.. but these are minor so over all I do find they very useful and better then the accordion plastic ones I had

I enjoyed this microwave food cover while it lasted. But the small plastic attachment of the handle broke within a few months. The cover is clear, which is really nice and has a vent at the top. Would be perfect if it lasted longer.

All in all it does what its supposed to do, just buy some superglue when you buy this cover, you'll need it. Its a good idea cheaply executed. The dome is nice, it controls splatter yet does not rest on your food like most other designs. Its clear so you can see what your food is doing, bubbling, steaming, done etc... But with very little use the handle will break off at the top, very small flimsy piece of plastic, Just supreglue the handle to the top after it breaks and it'll be fine. ... show more
