    • Very tasty and great quality
This is the same brand sold at the baseball stadium and they are delicious. The bulk size is much less expensive than at the ballpark and it's a huge amount. Package them up in baggies and take them with you.

    • Avoid these peanuts.
Although these peanuts are good sized, that is the only positive. The shells are unusually difficult to crack open and the peanuts themselves are tough as though theywere sughtly damp, unlike other salted in the shell peanuts I have ordere in the past from other sellers. I have no idea how these peanuts became substandard bot whatever the reason it needs to be corrected. Amazon contactded the seller, who emailed me asking me to photograph the bag and the box the peanuts came in, which I am unable to do. As a result, I was not able to complete the reply since a photo was required for a reply. I am now the irritated owner of a bag of squirrel food. ... show more

I happened to buy some salted in shell peanuts a few months back and reminded me how much I liked them in the past. With my tastebuds rekindled I bought a large bag of Wellsley peanuts and went through them in no time. These are so good I don't need to try any other brands. I save the peanut shells, soak the salt out of them then use them as mulch around my large potted trees. They really keep the soil moist, too. Guess I'm going to have to eat a lot more now for my potted plants!! ... show more

    • Large package not as good as small
I purchased small bags of this brand, salted in the shell, and was happy with freshness and quality. The 5 pound salted in the shell bag contained old and bad nuts, some even had to be discarded because they were opened, dried, brown and dirty-looking. At least one pound was lost due to being bad. I think the price was cheap so they were not the best quality for the company to sell otherwise. Paying more for good and consistent quality contained in small bags probably is better than the lack of freshness in the cheap 5 pound bag. ... show more
