  • Batteries should NOT be packed horizonatilly!!! grrrr.
Style: YTX20HL
Love this product. Been using and supporting this brand for several years now. Their batteries are excellent and preform exceptionally for the price point. Ok, so here comes the but... this battery was packed in the Amazon box sideways. For this I'd like to thank the dirtbag that packed the battery in the Amazon box because now I'm covered in battery acid. It's unpleasant to say the least. To anyone who has never been exposed to sulfuric acid, the take away is "don't let it happen to u". The manufacturer's box has a clear warning on it..."This Side UP". AGM batteries are for the most part enclosed they still MUST vent... which means they have holes.. So.. when a dirtbag! Boxes one side ways... it leaks.. That being said, these days it might have been a robot, in which case I blame the programmer. (grumble grumble.. ) Now, venting aside, I must ask the manufacturer, "Now that this battery has leaked and has less acid in it then it was designed to have, will it preform as it should?? or ??? --- still angry... signed Mr. Acid Burned grrrrr ... show more

  • Works!
Style: YTX20HL
2020 Indian Chieftain, fit perfectly, started right up. Won’t know about longevity for a while but so far it’s working nicely. I DID twist the negative terminal a little tightening the 10mm bolt, didn’t hurt it, just be careful with the ooga doogas.

  • Died less than one season in BUT...
I bought this in November of 23 for the 24 riding season. Put it in was all good etc. Then in June started to have light flickering issues and then the bike died. Put it on a trickle charger and tested it. Tested weak, just shy of bad. Granted I ride a lot, so we're talking at least three starts a day for three months. Maybe 100 starts total. For the cells to go bad and the battery test as weak... Kind of annoying. I bought this due to the many positive reviews but with my experience I'm giving it a two out of five. This was my initial experience with this product. But after posting this review the seller contacted me and offered a full refund. I'm honestly a little shocked. No pun intended. Based on that insane level of customer service I will be purchasing another battery from them to give them another shot. I'm also giving five stars due to this unexpected and awesome customer service. Can't say this will happen for you if your circumstances are similar bit based on this they earned a customer back, and a happy buy-again customer at that. ... show more

  • Pretty Good for the money
I have this monster 1981 Honda Goldwing 1100 which needs a hot amp battery to spin this big engine fast. I waited to see how it worked over time before writing a review. Close to a year now and this little battery works on this big motor.

  • Great replacement!
Style: YTX20HL
I purchased this battery as a replacement battery for my ATV. It was an easy install and cranked right up. I would not hesitate to purchase again for future needs.

  • customer service was fantastic
Their measurements are incorrect, so if you are limited by an actual compartment, you better have some wiggle room for size. I addressed the issue via my first 1 star review, because I was stuck with a bookend, but they contacted me quickly in response to my review, and remedied the situation without issue. thank you for decent customer service, which has become very rare these days. ... show more

  • New battery installed but Nothing happens when turn key on..
Style: YTX30L
My old battery still started my CF moto 950 sport but when I put this new battery in Nothing happens. Don’t know why. Battery is full charged hookup is right Positive to positive & negative to negative and nothing happens. Will have to take to dealer to find out. Two 40 amp fuses not blown either.. Will let you know when I find out.. UPDATE, WAS NOT BATTERY’S FAULT… When hooking up, I hooked the Plus side up first, then when I hooked the NEG side it made a small spark. Not knowing what happened it blew a fuse on the NEG side. I pulled the fuse but it was not blown. To make a long search short, the fuse I pulled happened to be a spare fuse. I did not realize the blown fuse was inside of this fuse holder on this 2020 CFMOTO 950 SPORT Side x side…SORRY I blamed the Battery when it was the fuse. The Battery is 100% GOOD and I recommend It. ... show more

  • Very difficult to install
Style: YTX20L
Replacing batteries in a motorcycle is something I have to do every couple years. The bike does not get ridden frequently and I don't keep a battery tender on it as I don't have power where it is stored. This is my first time buying this brand. I had been using another brand that fit in the bike very well and was easy to install. My only concern was they did not seem to last very long so I wanted to try another brand. I saw good ratings on this battery and looking at the specs it seemed to be the correct fit for the bike. The actual publish measurements was actually 1/10 of an inch smaller than what I had been using. I received the battery and on inspection it looked very good. Well packed. I unpacked and put on a battery tender to bring it up to full charge. It stayed there for a week or two due to travel and other activities. A nice Saturday morning came and I wanted to get the bike out for a ride. I grabbed the battery and went to install in the bike, normally about a 5 minute activity. The first thing I encountered was it was actually larger than my last battery. I have a Harley and the battery box required the battery to be have very specific dimensions. This one is a bit too large and it was a tight fit to get it into the battery box. That turned out to be the least of the challenges on the install. Attaching the cables to the battery terminals involves inserting the supplied nuts into the terminal slots. The gap on the battery terminals where the nuts go in is so large that the nut would fall out or if I managed to keep it from falling out, the nut would get push to the back side of the slot and the terminal screw could not reach it. After about 20 mins trying to get them to stay in I knew I had to come up with another solution. It was obvious that I needed something that I could use as a shim to hold the nut toward the front of the terminal slot and prevent it from falling out when putting in the screw. After considering several materials I spotted a styrofoam cup. I grabbed some scissors and cut a strip out then folded it to fit tightly into the terminal slot. With that in place I inserted the nut which now is held tightly in place and at the front of the terminal slot. The styrofoam worked well because if easily formed around the nut to hold it in place. I should point out that I used the nuts from the previous battery because they were actually rectangular in shape as they should be and the supplied were hex nuts. Very poorly thought out. The battery is new and starts the bike well. I can't speak to the longevity of the battery because I have not had it long enough. I won't be purchasing this battery again regardless. The fitment problem and installation issues it's not worth it. ... show more
