if you want cheap then this is for you, everything is plastic, that said subject to UV and physical damage. the chain and sprockets are thin as possible and i do not expect them to wear well. the cabling to the derailure is exposed, aka, not fully housed to it will collect dirt and water and corroded. the brake pads do stop well but lord help you to find replacements. the aluminum rims are nice but the spokes are way to small and will easily get damaged and miss align the rim. it can adjust ride height for a small range. it arrived with the cabling so messed up, i had to remove them in order to install the handle bars and reconnect them. the derailure or gear set deflector is extremely cheap and not well made and a trick to setup, cannot say it will stay that way, only time will tell. all said and done, a few more dollars and get a schwin. i bought this for a beach cruiser so i am not expecting a long life. well, i had to drop the review because the china rubber tire/tube did not hold up for one day, i never really has success with any china rubber products including car tire. the tube failed, pin hole and nothing in the rim could have done it. it cost 15 dollars to get good slim tubes, bought two because the front will probably fail also. ... show more

The bike is nice and affordable, just had it come with a damaged back wheel. The cost was about a $35 fix at REI.

Took about 30 minutes to put together but I was happy with the result. The only tricky part that they don't explain in the instructions is threading the pedals properly. One pedal threads clockwise but the left pedal threads counterclockwise. Some WD-40 is also helpful during the install.
