This two-lamp set was perfect for our needs. Really love its design, style and high quality lamp body. Pretty much everything is assembled straight out of the box. The light bulbs are also included with the lamp set. Lamps themselves are very attractive and just the right look for our nightstands. The bulb design on the bottom and top gives you a novel lighting experience – the upper one has a 2-way switch and is perfect for reading. The lower one has a touch button with 3 brightness settings and is good for bedtime. Awesome table lamp! Start to love it since I got it because it has beautiful look and useful functions. The upper & lower light with touching 3 dimmable LED design is quite convenient. Those free bulbs save me a lot of troubles as well. Great shopping experience!

I chose to review these lamps because I needed a couple to place on end tables by the side of my couch. The lamps were very easy to assemble and that is a good thing because the Manual provided must only be an advisory that manual labor must be employed. See image. I could not find any other instructions in the package. By the way....this is important. Two of the light bulbs, the smaller 2 Watt type will be found somewhere in the sticky tape and wrappings Until you have them located and out of harms way, do be careful where you step! The box that these lamps were shipped in was so small I wondered upon seeing it on arrival, I wonder if the shades will come in a separate shipment. Guess again, the shades come as a roll in the box along with four steel hoops. One of these has the hole for the threaded mounting for the lamp finial. Be sure to choose the finished side of the top hoop. The shade material is good quality, perfect color, and discreet old fashioned pattern. The material is easy to fasten to the hoops. What is used, well now it is not glue it is that trusty old indespensible Velcro. In this case it works very well grips solidly and if you take your time in dressing the fabric to the hoop it will do an excellent job in holding a good looking modern shade in place. I say modern because it is not tappered. I once redid an old fashioned contoured sculptured tapered shade. After multiple cutting of the material I finally was able to achieve a restoration renewall of the lamp shade. Never again!! This lamp fabric is cut perfectly, right on the mark and of the perfect length to form the almost traditional vertical joint seam on the shade. That near perfect seam was proof of the porridge that I did a really great job thanks to good materials to work with. Screw the lamp part with the mounting for the harp to the lamp, it will thread easily. Take your time and start it evenly and easily so as not to cross thread this important component. If is not flush with the lamp the shade will look crooked because it is crooked. After the part is properly attached to the lamp vase you will be ready to attach the harp. For the moment put the slip keepers up and out of the way while you squeeze the harp ends together and set them into the mounting fixture. Once that is done let the keepers fall down and cover the attachment points. They are pretty large in size and not a tight fit, but really they don't need to do anything but keep the tension joint in place. Now unscrew the finial, drop the shade in place and pur the finial back on the lamp harp.. Always take your time and don't force anything. Remove the finial from the lamp and install the shades now if you cant wait. Might be a good idea to put in the bulbs. The lamp comes with the bulbs. Four total. Put the little two watt lights in the bottom of the lamp. By the way, I forgot to mention that the two top light bulbs will be packed inside the lamp base and behind the iron work. So now is this like the bartenders towel in the bottle or ship in bottle. No logic would say that one of the panels must come loose or is hinged. One of the panels does come loose and it is securely attached not with a latch or screws but with....you guessed it, MAGNETS. Four of them, one in each corner of the panel. You can do it all today with magnets and Vlecro. (:-)))) Just like the Velcro that attached the lamp shade fabric, these magnets do a good job. Take out the LED light bulbs. These bulbs go in the top of the lamps. Do not put them in the bottom because they are not dim able or able to do any extra service other than provide a nice bright 600 lumen glow. With one panel already removed in stall the two watt bulbs in the bottom, They will provide some lighting ambiance and because they are narrow depending on your view of the lamp because of interior reflection the shiny black straps of the panel will create an illusion of multiple lights or a glass panel effect. See my image where I have captured this very nice quality. I like the fact that there is nothing more to do, whoops except plug them in to an AC outlet. Really a nice set of modern lights for my Farmhouse apartment! (:-)))) In one of my pictures you will observe that the shade appears crooked. That is because it was crooked and I was not aware until I downloaded the images from my camera. Since things like window shades and blinds that at odd heights and uneven adjustment, a crooked lamp shade is a pet peeve. You will have to except the fact that this lamp underwent an immediate adjustment and is now perfect in appearance. Both of the lamps are occupying wrought iron or danish modern plant stands. They are great stands and both of them can be purchased on Amazon. I wish that I had my couch and end tables to better display these really excellent lamp pair. My apartment came to me unfurnished and I came to it likewise. That is why when I see something on Amazon that needs a review and it is something that I can use, I order it for review. This very nice lamp set was no exception. The lamp set is very easy to assemble because it is well made, quality materials and It comes with all of the accouterments such as four long life LED bulbs. The shades look very nice and were easy to dress around the hoops. I think my pictures of the lamps pretty mush says it all. They look very nice. Good value and deserve FIVE STARS which they will be awarded in spite of the Manual with the tip. (:-)))) If you agree that they look nice after assembly and lighted then shop no further. These lamps will be provide perfect decor and valuable lighting for my new apartment home. ... show more

    • Great lamps, but our lower Edison bulbs never turn off!

Everything about these 2 matching lamps is really good, except that BOTH of the lower Edison night-light bulbs do not ever turn off! The lower bulbs are 3-Way Dimmable via touch control, but the only way they turn off is to unplug the lamps. Both lamps are the exact same. And reading other reviews, nobody else mentions that, and at least one review + the online description states that the lower bulbs should turn on/off as well as dim. We've tried loosening and tightening the bulbs, and holding the touch sensor, but nothing works. I posted a question about the on/off function, so I'm hoping the manufacturer or a buyer will LMK something! Here's what I like about these cool lamps: *Rustic metal frame (I ordered the oil-rubbed bronze, actually received the black, but think I might like the black better anyway since it has the sanded/weathered/rubbed edges and the online pics do not look like the oil-rubbed bronze lamps have that feature). *Metal frame has one panel held on via magnets, so it's easy to remove this panel to replace the bulb or dust the inside. *Lampshade is modern/rustic, nice and wide and a straight cylinder rather than the older style tapered shade. *Each lamp has 2 bulbs, regular bulb on a 2-Way switch under the shade, and a cool looking Edison bulb in the lamp's base which functions as a night light or just adds more light (we just need to figure out how to turn ours off!). These bulbs are supposed to work concurrently or independently of each other. *The lower Edison bulb has a Touch Control 3-Way Dimmer. IMO, there is not a whole lot of difference in the brightness of the 3 settings, but I notice a slight difference. *There are 2 USB-A ports on the base of each lamp, I've tested them, and they ALL work to charge my phone! So these USB ports are really great to have at the bedside or couch-side for charging while you sleep or relax. *Assembly of these lamps is super easy. They come with instructions, but it is quick and easy. The lamps were packed really well, including with bulbs and shades stored inside the lamp base frames. Happy to own these great lamps, just need to figure out how to turn off the lower nightlight bulbs without having to unplug! Thank you! ... show more
