This blanket is everything I'd hoped it would be and more. The colors are gorgeous. It is soo soft on both sides. The 48 x 72 size is great for cuddling into on the couch, but also for generously covering my side of our queen size bed at night. The fifteen pounds is heavier than I expected and feels very comforting and soothing. One thing I worried about was whether it would be too hot (I'm in Florida 🥵), but it's not at all. We have many other blankets that are thinner but make me overheat. This must have some magical built-in breathability because it doesn't make this post menopausal woman hot, just calm and cozy. If it has any downsides I suppose they would be that 1) it's pretty heavy so moving it every day from sofa to bed might not be for everyone so maybe keep it in your preferred spot, and 2) washing suggestions are to either spot clean or use commercial washer. I'll gladly take it to the laundromat once every so often. It's totally worth it! ... show more

My son is autistic and he loves this blanket. Great size& color soft and comfy. He uses it whenever he feels dysregulated and often just because he likes it so much. My Only "complaint" is the shedding. It would be nice for it to come prewashed.
