My old Weight Watchers scale finally stopped working after 15 years. This is a nice replacement. Seems sturdy. Readings are accurate and display is easy to see. I would advise keeping the box if you plan to move to keep the scale intact.

We were looking for a second weight watcher scale to have in our rv. We actually returned this scale simply because our old eyes needed a backlight display and in all my research I failed to notice this choice did not have it. We both stepped on the scale to determine if it would work for us and quickly realized I had missed the backlight. It weighed accurately when compared to our current scale and the display was large. We had chosen this one as we liked the rounded top that provided a handle to easily store and move around the fifth wheel. For us the need of a lighted display trumped the handle. I'd owned an earlier model Weight Watchers scale that was digital but pretty standard scale construction, plastic housing over the internal works. I was purposely looking for an upgrade with the heavy glass base because I'd read they were more stable, not subject to as much variation in readings as the older kind. I'd been happy with my previous WW scale so I was VERY happy to find a glass one like this and at a good price on Amazon. Yes, I read the reviews where some people said the "tap to weigh" feature gave them troubles, but my previous, older WW scale worked the same way, so there wasn't any learning curve for me. Now, that said, this model does require a pretty meaningful TAP - where the old, cheap model just took a toe tap, this one requires me to clonk it pretty good with the front of my foot, but once I wake it up like that, it sets to zero and you step on and get your weight a second or so later. The platform is VERY sturdy - surprisingly so! I expected it to be thinner material, but it's quite substantial. The four legs and the heavy glass make it very stable. My older WW model had a much smaller overall platform and was not stable at all, and if you stepped on it wrong it'd try to tip. I don't think you COULD tip this model over at all - it has a much wider platform than many scales I've seen and is very stable on the floor. I did the usual thing to check a new scale, stepping on and off several times to see if it'd repeat the reading - it did, down to the ounce! I took a 15 pound weight out of my home gym and stuck it on there - it weighed 15.1 ounces, which I'm more likely to attribute to the weight manufacturer than anything else, but even if you want to argue it was truly off .1, who cares? Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. High quality, substantial build, accurate, stable and an excellent price. Go for it! ... show more

I had a different WW scale for the last 6 or so years and it worked well. I did notice that over the last year my old scale numbers would vary so I would weigh myself three times and use the average. But this scale is very accurate. Others in my family noticed the same accuracy. Only suggestions for improvement would be that you have to fully step on it to wake it up - not a tap but a full step. Also digital display doesn’t light up so it’s a little harder to read than my last scale but I kinda like the privacy of that as well. ... show more

Bought a different brand it was cheap. Didn’t like it was the same price. Decided to try to wait. Watch us one love it. It’s sleek. It’s clear. It looks good in the bathroom and it works for what I needed. I don’t need the fancy things that hooked to my phone.

This is my second WW scale. First one finally died after 15 years. Both WW scales have always been right on the same number as the majority of hospital scales. I love knowing that the number I am seeing is the correct one.

So I purchased this a year ago and only used it once a month for first 6 months (6x in total). It is no longer working, even after replacing with new batteries, this does not function. The look is nice bc it is mostly clear and disappears under my vanity. Just disappointing that this broke so quickly. ... show more
