  • So much to do
I ordered this toy for my grandson who's nine-months old. He doesn't comprehend how most of the functions work, but he loves the sounds it makes. A couple of the xylophone keys are a little off occasionally, but aside from that everything else operates as expected. It's sturdy, brightly-colored, and he's intrigued by it, trying to figure out what the different parts do. I believe this toy will be useful for a long time as he begins to master some of the skills it teaches. I will be keeping it at my home as I have a higher tolerance for the various pounding noises it makes. Highly recommend with slight reservations about the inconsistent xylophone keys. ... show more

  • Great noisemaker to keep child entertained, which does not require batteries
The balls were challenging to pound through the holes. However, these would loosen up more with extended use. Every side of the toy had different interactive activities; however, my granddaughter really seemed to like the xylophone side the most with the hammer vs. drumsticks. Engaging toy without being complicated or requiring batteries. ... show more

  • My toddler loves the faces on the balls!
The media could not be loaded. My almost 2.5 year old is enjoying the toy, although I got it for her little sister. I thought she would be too old for this but I was wrong! I’m glad this is something my toddler and baby will both enjoy playing together. The wood is smooth, the paint and images look good. The xylophone works fine and the box can placed on its side so you can hit the keys from above. The ladybug clock works great - the arrows/hands do not spin freely so they stay exactly where you move them to. The balls are decent but just know they are smaller compared to the ones made by Lovevery, so if you’re used to that big brand just know these balls will differ in size. For size reference, in one of my photos you’ll see this item’s red ball sandwiched between Lovevery’s yellow and aqua balls. The faces on the balls make my toddler laugh so hard when they are hit and roll out the side. I thought the faces were a bit silly at first but they do add a nice element and provide a way to teach young toddlers about emotions (there’s a sad ball, angry/frustrated ball, and happy/excited ball). The only con is the mallet could have been a bit heftier as it takes several hits (5 to 6) for my nearly 2.5 yo to get it down the hole. Sometimes she’s tempted to push the ball instead but I just remind her to keep hitting it. For an adult, it takes about 2 or 3 hits to get it down. Not a big deal but I think a better hammer would have made it more enjoyable and less frustrating for my toddler. Overall we love this! We mainly got this because we wanted a wooden pounding toy, and we love that there’s more to do than just that. And we like that this is a safe toy that can be shared between my toddler and baby at the same time. ... show more

  • Multiple fun uses
This toy has so many different options for play! The only downfall is that once the balls are hit into the wooden box, they don't stay in the box well. They roll out of the hole, but maybe it's meant to do that. Overall, this is a well-made, multipurpose toy that will be enjoyed by kids of all young ages! ... show more

  • WEELIKEE 6-in-1 Pound A Ball Toy for Toddlers
WEELIKEE 6-in-1 Pound A Ball Toy for Toddlers, the grandchildren have more fun with this toy. Watching them play I tend to think the mallet is a little light for a two year old, the kids tend to push the balls down by hand when they can't manage to do it with mallet. The xylophone keys rest on the wood whether they are on top or on the side of the toy making them more of a thud than a sound. The toy comes with two drumsticks which get a lot of use. It is a popular toy with our grandchildren. It's sturdy and colorful. The toy could be improved easily by painting play by number xylophone keys, numbered or lettered play balls, properly mounting the xylophone keys. I'm with WEELIKEE when it comes to the mallet weight though, handing a toddler a heavier hammer would not be the best alternative, when pushing the balls by hand works well enough. ... show more

  • Adorable toy!
My son can’t get enough of this toy, it keeps him entertained for hours and also teaches him how to use his motor skills more efficiently. All the parts did come as shown and described, the manufacturer didn’t skip out on quality control. I’ve had times where the toy came with chipping or peeling paint, or smaller than described, not with this toy as it was all included. The only thing I think id like to see better is the possible attachment for the drum sticks as not to loose them easily or have your kid throw them across the room. Also if there is a way to make the drums a bit breathable at the end as my son did try to swallow it and ran the chance of choking on it, if it was to have small holes so in case swallowed their breathing ability wouldn't be taken away. Everything is perfect, my son is in love with it and makes mini concerts for his parents when he gets a good nap in. ... show more

  • Fun little learning toy
My baby really enjoy this toy his favorite is the hard wood balls, Yes I said HARD if the child throw it at your head you can surely be expecting a Knott. I lobe that it doesn't fit into my baby mouth, He thinks he supposed to sample everything that enter his little hands my baby is 11 1/2 months. He likes the colorful piano part he tries to pull on them but they will not move I will admit they feel a little sharp like if he swipe his finger to fast across the sides he can cut his self. I would have wanted that part into plastic or atleast cover it but he still loves it and bangs on it to hear the noise. I don't know why he will not used the sticks that came with it, He tries to eat those and hit the TV with them. Through all his throwing this little toy around nothing has fallen off or chip or broke. I would differently recommend it. The colors are beautiful and bright and it's easy to store away. I did step on one of the balls and let's just say I was speaking French for a second. Go ahead and brighten your little cupcakes babe day they will love it! You can even gift it to teachers and daycare and fun for grandma house. ... show more
