This tool works great. Push it down on the stalk i.e. center of the weed so it grabs the part that contains the roots and rock it back on the lever that provides the leverage and the weed pops right out. Perfect for larger weeds like dandelions. The lever pivots closed to clamp on the weed and you push it open to pull the weed out. If it is muddy you might have to pull some mud out along with the weed as well. Note: The bamboo handles screw together with aluminum inserts and the threads are very fine pitch so be careful that you do not damage the threads when starting them. Item came on time and as described. Simple assembly instructions, it was ready to use within minutes. Just need to wait for locktite (glue) to set and it was ready to go. It really helped me clean my yard from dandelion in such a short time. And I did have bucket full of them. Otherwise, I would be breaking my back for a long time. Excellent product, works very well, easy assembly. Works just like advertised, well designed for easy weed pulling, seems solid, well put together. Rating would be 5 star, however was to ship overnight, didn't ship till next day, and delivered in the evening.

    • Best little garden tool!
After purchasing this hand garden hoe the first thing I noticed was it had a really good grip and weight...not too heavy. I took it and had it sharpened. When using it to till closely around the base of my roses I immediately noticed it's ergonomically correct...you don't feel hand wrist or arm strain when using it...I've also used it while sitting on my garden stool putting in lots of new plants. No straining or getting tired from bending over! I've used this tool a whole lot! It doesn't slip out of your hand. You feel comfortable digging and tilling close around the base of plants when you don't want to mistakenly chop something like when using a large garden hoe. I also use it for touch up weeding around all of my plants when there is a here and there weed that popped up. I like the fork side for tilling the soil in my potted plants and window box plants. Very easy to use, durable and a nice rubber covering on the grip of the handle. The metal it's made out of seems like it has a really good coating on it (not raw metal) so it won't rust quickly. I do not often reviews good or bad. I had to make an exception with this product though. I just moved into a home in January 2025. The home is great but the lawn was pathetic. Oh my goodness I am so glad I Purchased this! I have put off getting one because most the time everyone promises, big results and you get frustrated that you fell for buying more garbage.. But not with us! I got it and it was so easy to put together. I went outside and immediately started pulling up everything! it works amazingly. I did read that someone said if you spray the bottom with cooking spray that the mud won’t stick to it. Thank you. Whoever you are for that tip. I love this!
